- So I went on a trip to the UK to catch USAF Rockwell B-1 bombers at Fairford air force base. You have seen a couple video's from this trip already, but not yet the flights. I flew to the UK from my home airport Rotterdam, on a flight to London City with BA Cityflyer. It was the second time that I took this specific flight, which I also did back in 2019. But the second flight had quite some differences to the first one! Enjoy!

When I went to Canada, I traveled on Widebody aicrafts of american carriers.
British Airways, Lufthansa and others own this aircraft brand on its fleets.
So, I am surprised Netherlands (KLM) also bought Embraer aircrafts for its fleet.
And I am saying that cause these planes are made here where I live, and third world countries manufactoring plants has not a reputation as good as Boeing or Airbus manufactoring plants does. At least not when we talk about aerospace tecnology.
Actually Embraer engineers and workers at assembly line work serious. These planes never suffered a major accident neither had wounded passengers as well... So, have a nice and safe trip!

I think the Embraer is actually a very nice flying aircraft!
Nice job Rudi. I even saw the Marriott County Hall hotel next to the London Eye on River Thames. We stay there every year !

I've done this flight once flying business class (🙄). The stewardess had to hurry to get us the Business Class breakfast (including a warm baked croissant I believe, it's been a while) served in time 😂

London City landings tend to be heavyish as a result of the unusually steep approach angle they need to use and the short runway. (Thames is pronounced 'TEMS' btw Rudi). 👍

How long did hou have to wait for security at RTM? Doing this flight soon and I’m curious how busy it is during the morning wave!
5 minutes! It is quite busy but if you come at the right time, it shouldn't take you long! Which date are you flying?
