Sarfend on Sea and the pier from 01:20. Shame about the early low patchy clouds but no matter. An excellent video of an area and airport I'm very familiar with. I always thought LCY arrivals were from the east so nice to see an arrival from the west. Super views on final.
Glad that you liked it! I checked for a week before the flight and they always took a similar route. Winds were stable so I was rather confident about what I would see and purposefully selected the seat as well
London City Airport requires an angle of 5.5° on approach, compared to around 3° at other airports. Therefore steep approach procures are in place, in the Embraer 190 spoilers are slightly extended to reduce lift and avoid gaining airspeed
I love how close it is to Canary Wharf

The views during this approach are just Insane! Seeing all those landmarks from the city so close from above! Great video mate.
Excellent video.
Crosswind Landing? Why the spoiler is activate in final approach landing configuration?

Pilots landing at London city seem to spare a huge percentage of a super short runway unlike pilots at other airports with much longer runway.
Absolutely correct, they only used about 750 meters from touchdown to vacating the runway
