Leicester never fails to disappoint 23/4/2024

- Tuesday 23rd April 2024. I take Tommy on a railway adventure to discover the delights of Leicester Railway Station and The Locomotive Inspection Point. The idea was to gather scenes from all around the station and along the railway cutting leading into the station but sadly the weather turned. luckily for us the previously owned Cross Country HST set (Now owned by Colas Rail as a test train) finally came out of the siding and into the depot for refueling. It came back out again and before heading back into the siding the rear power car started up for us all to hear her roar. Like I say in the title, Leicester never disappoints. I hope you enjoy and thank you to all the railway staff that made our day extra special.

Lol nah he can keep that shirt. I want a shirt that says "You can't put brains in coconuts" with an arrow pointing up 😂 Kettering is beautiful but one thing i don't like that changed is the underpass. That tunnel was awesome.

Great to see your little lad enjoying seeing the trains . Pity about the weather though . But you both saw some good trains .

It's not an express. Maybe from London to Luton but not coming from Kettering

I'm usually a loner but my confidence is getting better around folk so in the future I'll meet up for explores
That’s fine Purple I was out and about today at Newton near Lutterworth on the old Great central railway good walk and explore and will now do more
Also still trying to learn how to edit You Tube clips together and thumbnails any pointers would be useful as im not very tech savvy

I wouldn’t call a nice HST train and some long freight trains is really disappointing!! But there again, I’m not a train spotter!!
What I mean is whenever I go there to film something extra unexpected happens
Leicester has been a disappointment since the coaling tower went out of use. Even worse since the birdcage was closed.
Can't miss what I've never seen buddy but I fully understand where you are coming from.
