when this project is completed in 2/3 years time the railway line will disappear when the nature reserve is constructed as i assume there will be no further use for it, unless if part funded by the cement company a small railway station/platform could be created for people to travel to the reserve since a concrete platform already exits but also incorporate a bus stopping service say the Coventry service to and from, but could also provide a service for people who live close to the reserve who travel to other destinations by train on a regular basis. that means people from Cawston, Bilton, Long Lawford etc could travel to here instead of Rugby station looking for parking when space could be provided here, catch a train from here to the main station then change platfoms depending on your destination and return at the days end hopefully easing on some of the traffic jams in the mornings. Could be a use for college students in the mornings/afternoons as well.

I hope they will be able to reopen a public footpath. It ran down the side of the quarry but had to be closed when part of it dropped into the quarry.

Never in all my days have I ever seen a waste of time, money and resources when it takes 3 people to open a couple of gates to allow the loco and train to enter the work area. You only need 1 person to do that!!!!!

That little road it's only up to the where that car park is to the left you're allowed to go up as that's a road. After the little speed bump into the behind of the shopping park is where its private property. Its a bit sh*t but at the end of the day it is what it is. At least I still get good photos from the front of the depot. Also a good spot for the depot is just up the steps and onto the bridge next to the main road (the ones you walk by).

Good video Purple. I remember when a Jubilee was a common sight at Leicester and I remember the large loco shed to the North of the station on the right and its massive roundhouse. I saw nearly every Jubilee apart from a handful shedded at Corkerhill in Glasgow and 45581 ( I think) Bihar and Orissa. Regards Edward

I miss the old days of where you just used to be at Wellingborough Railway Station and you used to get so excited 😆 to see a train pass by and i feel like things have changed since then and i know it’s to make a living and get clicks to get better views but the vibes of the old vids i enjoy

Cut it close with a euroshed today! Got blasted with a singlew tone from Kings Langley car park, got it on cam corder aswell as 66 730 crossing over behind it.
