Love this video especially the inspiration I have taken from snapshots of your Parisian life! Quite saddened by all of the comments from subscribers “missing” your videos from the country side… As someone who completely started over in her 30’s I learnt that life is fluid and our needs and wants can change drastically the last thing you need is to be judged on these changes. Sending love to you and one of my favourite city’s in the world ❤
Such a dream Paris apartment. And I recognize what you say about starting over and not wanting to 'waste' your 30's in a country area. I moved to Haarlem Centre (the beautiful and historical area called 'Burgwal buurt') after ending my previous relationship because of the same reason. Beautiful (48 m2) and charming and clean apartment, walking distance from the town centre with museums, terraces and bike distance from dunes, forest and the sea. Enjoy it all, it's the best decision to follow your dream. Looking forward to much more Paris content with darling little Hope and am holding fingers crossed your visa gets through. ❤ Jess
Hi Jessica, you are doing exactly the right thing. We only pass through life once and things are ever changing. Your space is enough. And it has that Jessica magic. May you continue to enjoy and flourish. Bumps along the way are inevitable but you’ve climbed mountain before. Xx
So cute! I find that the more space I have, the more I acquire and have to keep tidying up, so I love your little apartment. How perfect for you! You look really happy and comfortable in this video, I enjoyed it 😊
The little balcony is everything! I completely understand being single in the city vs the countryside. I currently live in a small town and would love to move to the city. The opportunities to explore, experience new things and be introduced to a new set of people, and just feel free to explore yourself while living more anonymously is so inviting. It’s not that I don’t love small towns etc, but being single in your late 20s/30s means you just often need different experiences.
Lovely to see your new space. Wow what a view! Looking forward to more of your Paris videos. Hope you’re happy in your new place with Hope ! Exciting times xxx
I’m glad you love it Jess. I’ve watched since your first video and I really miss your cottage life and I love rewatching your videos but I hope your new life brings you so much happiness xx💕💗💕
I think you’d enjoy this wellbeing focused french podcast, it helped me learn French when I first moved here. It’s about 10 minutes per episode so bite size and she has a lovely slow and clear style of speaking French. Loved the tour!
What a cozy nook 🥰 I love it! And the view😍 I love the podcast “ feel better, live more”, a favorite of mine is “ the Mel Robbins podcast “ it’s about motivation and other things, it’s hard to describe it but Mel Robbin really helped me and still on my journey to heal and be myself 🤍. I feel like the thirties is the best, I use to beat up myself for not doing things in my twenties that I do naturally now, I was just not ready in my twenties and really feeling awkward about myself and today I feel better and I’m ready to do more 🤗. Fingers crossed for your visa 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🥰🍀
@@JessicaRoseWilliams I have moved back and forth between the US and U.K. a couple times, moved many places within both, and now I want to try out the full time nomad lifestyle.
The apartment looks so gorgeous and that view! Home sick just watching it lol 😂 you have the best place to start! Hope you get your visa sorted fast hugs 😊💖
Right you are. Often the way we handle space gives us a key into our lives, smart use of space really is the statement of how much we wish to consume and how much we are able to give/share. Luckily, in my after years we are soon moving in to our second home, another, though much smaller apartment, and I’m delighted to share that I’ve done enough research for a lifetime into smart yet inexpensive and as far as possible eco friendly living. Thrifting is not very big in India though we have second hand furniture outlets in many cities. Even then, I’m thankful for small spaces in my sixties, looking forward to living there from next month! Like you and Hope! Love your new home. Absolutely love the light, and the illusion of space it creates with all its calming, zen elements! Cheers!
Jess, so nice to see you! 😊 Just this morning I was wondering how you were doing. Happy to hear so far all has gone well with the Visa. I can't wait for you to get back to Paris with Hope! Your teeny tiny studio is adorable. I love tiny spaces. They always feel extra cozy. ✨ With a dog though I do think a bit bigger would be more comfortable. Anyway, I hope all is well. Take care. 💕
Loved the video. I did the in my 20s tiny apartments and lived abroad and yes when i got married right before my 30s it also was small but two kids later ive found that yes country living is great with a family but it would have been hard as a single. Quite isolating. So i cheer you on and say go for it and love seeing your journey. Im thinking paris in autumn may be the best thing ever 😉
I watched my first home tour the other day and was like..nope can’t afford that anymore 😂… but it’s all ok. We can start over again and reassess at any point
Tiny but lovely studio :) We miss you on instagram, glad to see your video. I was just thinking about you yesterday, because i started tatoo laser removal.
What a view!!!! Soooo romantic and the epitome of Paris! I'm really happy with my studio flat, and it's a little bit bigger than yours but I'd definitely sacrifice for space if I had that view! :) Enjoy!
@@JessicaRoseWilliams ooh, gosh I don’t know the exact size- I’d think it’s over twice the size as yours… so not that small but my studio before this was bigger…. But I love my smaller studio better. It was really weird but I really enjoyed getting rid of clothes just because I didn’t want to cramp them in my wardrobe. Such a nice feeling to be so intentional. ❤️🙏🏻

I love the country but I can totally imagine being in your position and wanting to enjoy the life you maybe didn't get to enjoy when you were married, especially as you got in that relationship early if Iremember correctly. This is what you want now, who knows where you'll be in a few years time... Also I was wandering if you had toilets inside the flat 😂 all my friends who studied in Paris had to share their toilet, and sometimes even bathroom, apart from one who had what I would call a caravan bathroom inside his tiny, tiny, flat (even smaller than yours!!!).
