I didn't know that the role of Masha is considered as a hard one. I believed quite the opposite. As a ballet lover who doesn't dance ballet I think that the role of Kitri is (one of) the hardest, but I'm not really sure about it because I don't have technical knowledge. Can you tell me which are the 3-4 hardest roles you've danced until now, with the Mariinsky Theatre? Based on your personal experience, always. Nice video, can't wait until part 2 🥰

Chile ballet is crazy expensive. If you are trying to get book for these classical ballet companies, a lot of those kids don’t go to school. They get homeschooled, so they can take classes 6 hours a day 6 days a week. Not many black folks can overcome that economic barrier. Then the folks that can and try then have to deal with the racism. Also since you on Marie’s video asking this question, Marie is in Russia, they don’t have a lot of black folks there.
What a wonderful artist and person you are, love hearing about your journey of discipline and self-improvement. Both venerable institutions, the Vaganova and the Mariinsky, put their trust in you and you have made yourself worthy of it, bravo!

Hello Maria, I tried to write a constructive comment. I really prefer baller or fitness videos. This kind of videos is in my opinion too overrated and not natural. I loved your Q&A videos but this kind of videos where you seem to talk just to talk and to have a disproportionnate ego (chiefly with the video's cover) looks like marketing videos. I don't say that to be nasty, and to be honest you are one my favorite dancers. I'm also so grateful for all your fitness and ballet works videos, they are helping so much !
