Hey guys! :). Just wanted to clarify that this is a real tournament - if it wasn't clear. Just that the tournament director kindly let us switch up the card and play a bit earlier (not everyone wants a camera in their face while trying to focus on their game) That is all ❤🤟 /Jonathan bit.ly/47CrPnG
I think I started around the same time as you Johnathan, and I played a lot last year, probably 100 rounds. Do you know how many you've played since you started?
You could've added your climbing through the standings every other hole after that rocky start for added drama, that way it would've been evident it was a real tournament and not just 4 guys. Then again it's a chore piecing together as you played at mostly different times from the looks of it.
AGREED!!! Its great to see what someone with all of the resources in the world can do compared to me and a few dozen discs and a few decent local courses.
You inspired me to enter a tournament after watching your videos. This past weekend I shot +53 over 2 rounds but I’m excited to continue to work on my game and play more.
+53 ? Wow, that sounds like my ballgolf game. I actually made the switch because after 2-3 yrs of hitting golf balls I still hadn't shot double digits 😲💫🤣lol that's a lot of suck!
I don't know your form, but I know what helped me was using more lower body and not using arm muscle. keep your arm loose the key isn't strength it's speed. I hope that isn't incredibly vague.
What makes Johannes a "PRO" disc golfer is how encouraging he is to you and your card mates. 100% the right attitude. A true disc golfer. I think an indicator of what kind of sport disc golf is, is the fact that you can "nice" someone : ) I can't think of any other game or sport where an opponent would get in "trouble" for encouraging someone too soon! LOL
Dude, your 9th hole was amazing! Your second shot I literally exclaimed "Wow.....WOW!" So impressive and super inspiring. Having watched your progression throughout these videos, it's great to see you having fun during a tournament and hanging out in the middle of the pack on the Front 9! Keep it up, Jonathan!
Probably the best disc golf blog on the internet right now. I've been watching you from day one, your growth and love for the game is amazing. Keep it up!
Thanks for letting us watch your first tournament. Johannes is such a great supporter -always commenting on the positive aspects of your game! For future content, I could use an episode on course management, especially deciding to lay up or take a run at the basket. UPDATE: I just saw that your series Pro vs Beginner # 1, 2, 3 is all about course management. I never got the Yt notification so I missed these episodes.
I was having a bad day, depression wise, but your videos always cheer me up. Pure joy! It's so refreshing to see someone be so genuine. I just wanna give you a big hug!
I’m glad I found your channel. If I want to learn something, you’re reliable. If I want to be entertained, you’re reliable. I’ll be playing in my first tourney in May!
There must be something about Jonathan's and producing GREAT Disc Golf content! Excited to see Ville on the Pro tour in a few years! He's already SO good!
I am right there with you - miserable and having fun - the joy is in the journey. All the best to you and hope you're still enjoying this wonderful sport.
I am very proud of you Jonathan! You've done great so far through the front nine, and, more importantly, you look like you're having fun. Also, Johannes shoes stole the show for me! They are awesome!
It's easy to think about the bad shots from a tournament and how they might have made your score better, but I think it's so much more important to think about your good shots, when you executed your game plan exactly how you drew it up. And you had some fantastic shots Jonathan! The 2 birdies in a row, dissecting hole 9 down shot by shot. You played awesome!
That was great. I love your positive, fun loving attitude. Kudos on your first tournament. As old guy (72) I can't dream of throwing as far as you or your group but, my second shots are usually in putting range I have recently been working on my foot work primarily because of your video's and training sessions with Tomas. I can say it has helped a lot with my distance 30+ feet longer now. My biggest take away from your videos? I have learned the premise of having fun with the game. Thank you for that..
The mature thing to do 🤣 I thought about that conversation Sunday when I tried to throw over the trees… it did not work out well for me. Great job guys 🥰
This one inspires me. Not like im thinking that i will be participating in a tournament soon...but that you improved so much and it shows as you play with these guys. Also, that even those guys can have "bad shots"-- lol-- that makes me feel ok about my "learning curve". This is cool. Thanks
Love the channel, have learned a ton and always entertained. I played my first tournament today and this is how I'm choosing to wind down! Much thanks to all you guys, I'm throwing tons of Lat 64 stuff now and hope you keep up the content.
@@Latitude64 It was a great experience, after we got over the fear of looking like jackasses my buddy and I straightened up and did some solid throwing. I really got to know a new Havok, a great disc for distance on tighter fairways. More Latitude stuff can be found in my area nowadays, so that's good, but can't get some of the ones you guys throw. Again, watching Tomas and Johannes has been a huge help in the last year to prepare me for "serious" play. Cheers!
Jonathan, great job! More than anything, congrats on playing your first tournament! I'm excited to finish the B9 and see how it ends up. You're definitely inspiring me to play in my first tournament soon (perhaps). As always, your videos are great, and you completely kill me with your jokes, just try not to be so hard on yourself sometimes! If you ever wanna feel like Johannes, fly over to Florida and play on a card with me! Thanks for posting!
Hey Johnathon, I think you played awesome. I think it was a disadvantage to you for them to put you on a card with guys in a different skill level. But, looking at the leaderboard, at this point, you are tied for the lead with the other MA2's., so, that's great! Keep up the good work and keep the faith. Thanks for sharing.
Excited to finish watching this! Also, Hole 1 I love that there's a chunk missing from the siding of the house from all the shanked drives. I've also been playing about a year, so maybe it's time for me to finally sign up for a tourney as well!
I first watched a video on this channel because I needed some guidance in my newly found passion. Obviously I still need all the help I can get, but I must admit that your humour makes me watch some videos more than once 😂
Love this channel! I am new to the sport and trying to learn as much as possible, so this is all so helpful. Which bag version was everyone using in this vid?
It's TIME! (Bruce Buffer Voice) First 30 seconds, I love the card and the Bas Rutten vibe you have with the breath written on your hand. Is that who inspired you to do that?

Oh that's cool! Glad you guys were able to get together and play...that had to help settle your nerves! Great play and great content, as always!
Just to clarify, that's bias!! Jk . Lol.
Finally finished front 9, And so far not bad for your first front 9.
Jonathan makes some of my favorite disc golf content. Lat 64 knocked it out of the park when they hired him.
Thank you so much :)
As a beginner who's fallen head over heels for this game I can't express how grateful I am for this channel.
Lat 64 is part of trilogy dynamic/westside/lat64 so try dynamics Danny Lindal for some other good help.
AGREED!!! Its great to see what someone with all of the resources in the world can do compared to me and a few dozen discs and a few decent local courses.
Lol when i started playing for tips I would have some marijuana in my pocket works everytime offering to smoke
This made me really happy. Glad you like it :) /Jonathan
Likewise. These guys are the best. My 5 year old son and I watch a video together before bed, some nights.
You inspired me to enter a tournament after watching your videos. This past weekend I shot +53 over 2 rounds but I’m excited to continue to work on my game and play more.
are you playing on a harder course than you should be playing on?
Woo keep going! I had a similar result on my first tournament. I had a blast meeting new people and just having fun.
It was an amateur layout of 2 of our local courses short tee pads where Available. A lot of it was nerves and rushing my shit selection
We've ALL had rounds like that. Let me ask you one simple question. Did you have fun? Heck yeah you did. Keep it up.
+53 ? Wow, that sounds like my ballgolf game. I actually made the switch because after 2-3 yrs of hitting golf balls I still hadn't shot double digits 😲💫🤣lol that's a lot of suck!
Can't wait for the Jonathan Fastborg Tour Series Fuse "Breathe" to come in stock
I would love to play on a card with Jonathan. So encouraging and uplifting. Keep it up man!
Tomas' throw looks so effortless. I feel like I put everything I have into my BH and it squeaks out 200'.
You're trying to hard. Less is more. Focus on your form and arm placement.
I don't know your form, but I know what helped me was using more lower body and not using arm muscle. keep your arm loose the key isn't strength it's speed.
I hope that isn't incredibly vague.
Looked like a lot of fun! Tomas needs to stroke the board harder on the back 9.
This was fantastic!
If you all have time in the future, I love to see which discs people throw especially off the tee. Future production goal?
The smile on your face when you get birdies is priceless.
"200 m, 656 ft. Here you wanna go for the ace."
"No."
😂👍
Eagle could.

The progression is REAL! :D Keep up the good work with these videos. As a new player, I learn a ton of tips & tricks from you guys :)

"Love us! Now!" I love, love, love this channel! So, done, haha. Smiles the whole time. Wholesome, funny, educational, inspirational. Great job y'all!
Haha! Thank you so much, Matt. Have a great day! /Jonathan
Awesome! Back to back birdies! And that drive on hole 9!!! That was a GREAT hole!! A legit birdie bid as a bonus too!
Yes, Jonathan! Yes! Give us more of your awesomeness! :D
I’m glad I found your channel. If I want to learn something, you’re reliable. If I want to be entertained, you’re reliable. I’ll be playing in my first tourney in May!
Glad you like it =)
Nice! The look on your face for the birdie was priceless!

Thanks a ton, John =) /Jonathan.
Yeah Ville is great!
Kind. Supportive. Celebratory. Encouraging. Appreciative. Wholesome. Refreshing.
Dude, I love your videos, inspiring, helpful and tons of fun! Big grats on your first tournament!
That´s very nice of you. Thank you :)
I have been so excited, waiting to see this! You guys are quickly becoming my favorite youtube content!
Thank you so much :). Hope you´ll enjoy the front 9 and also the back 9
I'm truly miserable at this game but I have fun every time. I love this channel because it gives me hope. Good job, Jonathan!
I am right there with you - miserable and having fun - the joy is in the journey. All the best to you and hope you're still enjoying this wonderful sport.
@@MonkeyFreeZone Thank you, and yes, I still enjoy it!
Ville is a future star. Enjoyed that thanks.
I am very proud of you Jonathan! You've done great so far through the front nine, and, more importantly, you look like you're having fun.

You’ve inspired a lot of people with this quality content. Please never stop entertaining/educating us Jonathan.

Loved it! Looking forward to seeing how you all do on the back 9.
I love this!!! I need more Jonathan in my life. Even not doing so great, youre so upbeat and positive, its awesome to watch!
That feel when the 13yr old kid throws further than some of us :D
Ville is great :)
2:12 wow beautiful, looks like Eagle throwing
Yeah Ville is great :)
Amazing to all of you. Such an enjoyable channel. Seeing people progress in this sport is so awesome. Love this sport.

Johnathan, your improvement since your first videos is incredible! Great job! I’m impressed!
I haven't even started watching yet, but I've been looking forward to this! I hope you do well!!!
Let's see...

Congratulations on your first Tournament. My 1st is in two weeks. “Breathe” will be on my hand.
Breath work is a major part of my putting routine or anytime I need to relax my nerves and focus. Good luck in your tournament.
I mean it really helped me out to write it there. Think I´ll keep writing it in future tournaments. Best of luck in your first :)
Great content! Love the ‘reality’ of the video
Great job! Can't wait for the back 9.

nice work.... there are some good shots there Jonathan. If you keep it low you really do have some form showing.
