I was in the process of buying Concord last night. Put it in the basket and was looking at which ps5 I would get select one and then the game was removed.
The disc version is now $150 on eBay minimum. At least whoever purchased the disc will probably be able to sell this for like $500 - $1000 in 5 years. Anything that gets recalled like this will shoot up in value.
If they're gonna make a blockbuster hero shooter, they've gotta use the PlayStation assets. Kratos, Nathan Drake, Ratchet and Clank etc. Let it be PlayStation's take on super smash Bros but with guns
Sony screws up live service once again. Didn't even have the wherewithal to make it free to play at any point when the market is entrenched with f2p options in the hero shooter genre. They didn't even survive long enough to battle marvel rivals, another f2p hero shooter.

I had my 13-year-old nephew over this past weekend for a couple hours and We played Gears of War ultimate edition Bayonetta and Asurra's Wrath and he loved all of them. Asura's Wrath was even his idea and his favorite. He went and purchased it when he got home. Even he thinks the older game were better. Are you listening video game developers? A 13 year old thinks 12 year old video games are better than any live service game.
The market is saturated with a lot of games in general not just live service games. But there are plenty live service out now that are blackhole games. Most people don't want more live service games especially games that don't stand out in any way. I remember when this game was in beta and a gamer said this is going to be dead on arrival. There was nothing special and it cost money when those type of games are free. Im glad wokong is doing well. That is the type of game people are wanting more of. Heck there plenty of other games that we want but concord a looter shooter.....NOPE

The only game that would make me buy a ps5 again is resistance, I played resistance 2 on ps3 that was the best game ever for me, the pvp was amazing and fun even the story of Nathan was so good. Bring it back sony.

I was in the process of buying Concord last night. Put it in the basket and was looking at which ps5 I would get select one and then the game was removed.
The disc version is now $150 on eBay minimum. At least whoever purchased the disc will probably be able to sell this for like $500 - $1000 in 5 years. Anything that gets recalled like this will shoot up in value.
Lets see if Sony learned their lesson and dont pull the same bs again in the future.

Single Player "Blockbuster" titles don't rake in the money they used to. Because they're too expensive to make. If your conclusion on Concord is that PlayStation needs to pump out the same boring formula over and over again... then you took the wrong conclusion. Sony needs to get better at diversifying their offering.
Sony needs to release smaller AA games. Games that take more risk. Games that put gameplay above visual and graphical flare.
Sony has a huge catalogue of IP that fit this bill, games fans have been crying for. But people like you are sending the wrong message to Sony.
Sony needs to diversify themselves. They can't keep relying on 3rd parties to bail them out and give the PlayStation variety. And this goes the same for Xbox. Both companies need to return to making video games. AAA, AA, indie, let your studios make games, not spreadsheets...

Huge failure right? Concord may have sold 25k all together. Could be less than that. Only 1200 people completed the easiest trophy in the game & that’s get a kill. This isn’t just a failure, this is rock bottom. That studio will be split up in a week.

I had my 13-year-old nephew over this past weekend for a couple hours and We played Gears of War ultimate edition Bayonetta and Asurra's Wrath and he loved all of them. Asura's Wrath was even his idea and his favorite. He went and purchased it when he got home. Even he thinks the older game were better.
Are you listening video game developers? A 13 year old thinks 12 year old video games are better than any live service game.
The market is saturated with a lot of games in general not just live service games. But there are plenty live service out now that are blackhole games. Most people don't want more live service games especially games that don't stand out in any way.
I remember when this game was in beta and a gamer said this is going to be dead on arrival. There was nothing special and it cost money when those type of games are free. Im glad wokong is doing well. That is the type of game people are wanting more of.

I disagree with your and agree at the same time lol it’s important for us to speak with our friends wallet and voice opinions like in reviews. If we look at games like cyberpunk we see that companies were definitely afraid to release a game that was like that for a while.
The only game that would make me buy a ps5 again is resistance, I played resistance 2 on ps3 that was the best game ever for me, the pvp was amazing and fun even the story of Nathan was so good. Bring it back sony.
