      Blue Cross immediately changed a policy that would harm it's customers after the killing, so it does have a silver lining, at least one. It's yet to be seen what other positive effects it might have. Just the attention brought to universal healthcare and the criminality of our system is a big win, imo. I have no pity for Thompson. I get sick of people saying the system is broken. It's finely crafted and working exactly as intended. Those at the top are making billions on the suffering of those at the bottom. When a government fails to protect citizens' natural rights, the People have the right to alter or abolish it, a principle enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. This power can be exercised through voting, legal action, or, in extreme cases, revolution. The *Mangione Model for Class Revolution* builds on this principle, suggesting that the People, acting as Jurors, could acquit vigilantes who “depose” individuals deemed domestic threats or evil “parasites.” This idea correctly positions the People-not executives or officials-as the ultimate authority in cases such as this. If We declare “not guilty” for precise hits that spare innocents, then corrupt elites might realize their behind-the-scenes actions could carry life-or-death consequences… for themselves.

      @rainbomg 6 днів тому

      Oh honey this started in the 80s with Reagan. Everything republicans do is in service of siphoning wealth away from the bottom and into the very top. Actually look at the bills they pass, even the military funding goes into the private sector, it’s the same 4 guys that are defense contractors and all that taxpayer money is being spent on their insanely overpriced tentpoles and crap. They fought Obamacare bc they knew that healthcare companies couldn’t survive competition bc they are (and have been) raking in unnecessarily high profit margins for horrible products. A competitor could easily offer better and cheaper health insurance if they were allowed to, and there’s no reason to prevent that. Why did the republicans fight it so hard? Why do they always fight it when our tax dollars are going to go back into the people? Rich people don’t pay taxes, we do, and the gov budget is OUR money.
      The pandemic just gave them an opportunity to use price gouging to make it even more extreme, because these people are so set for life that they have nothing to fight for, bc their wealth is so obscene. They’d have to spend a hundred grand a day for the rest of their lives and they’d still have over a billion dollars left. They’ll never spend all their money but they will destroy lives just to add to their pile, bc it’s the only thing they care about and enjoy, is just _taking more_

She and I firmly believe it is because of what Luigi did. The procedures are weight loss related, and to receive shoulder replacements (both shoulders need it), she must lose close to to 100lbs. They were just hoping she'd die first. They have been delaying for the past year, insisting all these other methods need to be done first. She finally completes them all and gets denied anyway. According to an EYEWITNESS: the Black Limo Driver, told TV reporters "the shooter" was there ALL NIGHT.
      The footage obtained showed Luigi leaving the hostel and only near the Hilton area for an hour. Hmmmm

    We are mirroring the past century so much. We had a major war, a pandemic, rise of Fascism, a ultra rich class that didn t pay workers fair wages, and then an industry became so hated for ruining families, then the 1920s case it was banks foreclosure on families and farmers, and when outlaws started robbing banks, the average person was applauding them. We also had a government that wanted to instill tariffs that ended up causing a trade war which in part caused the initial downturn in the economy that ended up leading to the great depression. I see a major downturn in the economy next and a collapse of the stock market.

      Except now they just bail it out. So it goes on forever. They allowed every company to merge and now they're all too big to fail.

      What's your point? Most all of the people he helped kill had a family. A family that wasn't able to pay for their care.
