Totally agree and was arguing with Audi guy who had the same front charge location. Convenient but likely to get hit and up north the area that gets hit with snow and ice. Like where it is on the Bolt.

2.4 million new unsold cars in inventory , currently. New car buyers should shop around for the best deal $$ and never ,ever pay MSRP. This is not 2021-22 anymore folks.
2.4 million sounds like a lot but they are forecasting 1.2 million new vehicle sales for November of 2023 so there is currently a 60 day supply of new inventory... unless we are talking about the Blazer EV, in that case it is like a 600 day supply, lol.
@@DaveBsellsChevy Yes the overall industry is sitting with 60 days supply , which is considered ideal. Honda,Toyota, Kia has the lowest inventory , while Stellantis, Buick, Audi have the highest....Chevy is .. slightly below average .. but Chevy dealers in my area are well stocked.
@@DaveBsellsChevyyeah, GM priced the Blazer EV for low interest rate, pre-five digit Model Y price drop days. The dealers get stuck with them .
Trailblazer looks great! Nice to see inventory increasing, hopefully the good old days (aka 4 yrs ago) are back soon. I miss walking car lots with tons of cars.

Wanted an GMC Yukon Xl AT4 but man with the price of these vehicles these days, I guess I'll stay with my 2019 Kia Sorrento, 2016 Genesis 5.0, and 2010 Nissan Altima.
Well looks like at least one commenter has a positive anecdotal experience with an Equinox. The problem with them comes later in their lives when things start falling off, cracking, breaking and of course the old 3.6L that requires an engine out timing chain service, thus mechanically totalling every single one of them at that point.
3.6L hasn't been in the equinox since 2017

bought my wife a 2024 Equinox in August like it so much I just might replace my aging 2005 GMC Canyon with a second Equinox in the Spring or summer. Pickups are getting way too expensive for me. Also considering either a Trax or a Trail Blazer but I think the best value for the money would be another Equinox.

It's a shame that so many of your Equinoxes are the same basic colors (almost all are either black or white!). Would be nice if shoppers got some more of the cool colors to choose from like the blue & the red. Trailblazer looks good. My preference would be to wait for the next-gen non-EV Equinox... but I can certainly understand that these last-of-breed models can be good deals for the right shopper.
The consumers need inventory levels to rise up, like what we see with your equinoxes. Supply and Demand! Help drive down some of these crazy prices! Like a $60K truck with CLOTH seats.
My local NH Chevy dealer has a 2024 Z06...but with a $25,000 "Market adjustment".....that normal for those Dave ?
I have a Kia Niro EV with the charge port in the same place as the Kona. I like it when the charger is directly in front of you when you pull into a parking space. Haven't crashed it yet though.
Another risk is the charge door freezing shut due to winter road splash. It is a nice generic location, otherwise.
I like that blue color on the Equinox in the video looks similar to the blue on my 2023 Kia Sorento SX Prestige beautiful color
I have a '23 Equinox LT AWD and really love it especially the ability to turn off the AWD when not in low traction conditions.

Dave I just read a story on Google and GM even says they are loading up on equinox. I believe that it's the word is out about the full change for 2025. Just like the 2024 Traverse.

I do agree. Inventory is rising but still not anywhere close to pre Covid levels.
Most dealers do not want to carry a large inventory due to the high cost of floor plan interest.

Equinox one of the worst cars you can buy, they depreciate fast for a reason, and they are still not worth it with a big discount.
What's your thoughts on the 2024 Traverse I'm actually in the market and it's on my list

People carrying on about the Equinox's, at least there's finally inventory and "selection" lol. They are getting a bit long in the tooth and time for a new one though.
Great video Dave. I can speak highly on the Equinox. I owned a 2014 Equinox for nine years. Never had a moment trouble with the car. i do not own the car but it stayed in the family. 100k and still running strong.

Imagine something thinking a Traverse is a nice vehicle. Those comedians should take that show on the road.
It’s a great size
Imagine living in a small town where all you had were domestic dealers. Imagine the closest import dealer is 4 or more hours away which makes it a pain to go get serviced. Imagine you don't have a whole ton of money unlike you and are proud that you are able to afford a traverse. Not everybody can hang out up on that golden pedestal like you do. I do want to congratulate you on your wonderful life and the ability to look down upon others that may be proud of the things that they own that are subpar in your eyes.

@@tokuzumi1 Nope, I don't particularly care for the traverse. It is a dated vehicle to me for a long time. Just thought I'd throw out that one person's trash can be another person's treasure. Not everybody can be as wonderful as you.
Assuming a 72 month loan, not even accounting for interest, $30 a month is over $2000. I love you Dave but that was a very car salesman type comment, which I rarely if ever see from you. Just some friendly feedback from a huge fan of yours.
36 month lease. 6k in extra equipment equaled about 90 per month more. Payment went up 30
And even with a 72 month example.. isnt paying only $2000 for a vehicle with $6000 more in options a good deal??
I partly agree on the charging port, but any part of the vehicle can get hit. They should design charging ports to survive a moderate smash.
EV’s are ultimately intended to be disposable. Coincidentally, they are also intended for people with disposable income.

No, it’s called the 3LT. The Premier is a different trim.
@@dforrest4503 On the website there is only LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier and High Country as choices so maybe it is LT Leather

WOW Thanks for answering my Equinox question. I was concerned I have a 2020 Equinox purchased it used from Schumacher in Little Falls.
I have zero complaints with it thus far but when I saw all those equinoxes in the lot I started to wonder if there was some problem that I was unaware of were people were saying that's it staying away from that vehicle LOL
2020 Equinox is my 2nd one had a 2017 that gave me zero problems as well. I like the 2020 better.

All of the Equinoxes in that row are black, gray, silver or white. zzzZZZZzzz No Radiant Reds or Riptide Blues. Why is that? Do they not make as many?
Dave is used vehicles dropped there in value in NJ? Here there all time low I picked up a used 2023 Equinox LS FWD with 500 miles on it for 19k MSRP was 30k on window sticker but quality of vehicle sucks as GM made it in Mexico & wont last so I will sell it when title arrives. Since you have 19 of them I wont sell it to you as there not selling I see. All GM plants shut down in the US & Canada but not the Mexico & Korea plants as they not in the UAW.

I owned an Equinox...worst car I ever owned. Bought a used 99 Honda CRV and I was the best $3500 I ever spent. The Equinox had nothing but electrical and head gasket problems. JUNK!
