- The actuator on my 2009 Infiniti FX 35 failed. I was not able to access the vehicle from the outside or the inside. In this video I repaired the assembly and showed you what to expect if you decide to DIY. I will also mention the tools needed and videos that were helpful to me. #infiniti #InfinitiFX35
Tools: 8mm Socket, 10mm Socket, T25 or T27 Screwdriver, Flat Head Screwdriver, Strong Magnets.

I had the same issue door wasn’t opening from inside and out. On a Q50 2014. Took the door off the car made a it easier to replace the door lock actuator. After replacing and repaying the door the car and issues being fixed or so I thought. The next day the same issue had arrived it still doesn’t open from inside and out ever since a few months ago now
Sorry to hear that!!! If you can't get the door open, hopefully this helps some. I had to pry the door panel off. It took me a week.
Good stuff but you had me dizzy from movinf camera all over the place. get a tripod for those steadier videos.
I did this many years ago and only took me about 3 hours, I also learned from watching another video. dont see why you had such a hard time with yours. ?

Hey man, have you had to keep the old cables attached to the new actuator? You mentioned that the new part from Nissan Rouge cables was shorter than the Infiniti ones. So, finally, they worked lengthwise or you replaced them with the old ones? I am in the same situation, so I ordered the Nissan Rouge actuator with cables attached and not sure if the entire part will fit properly, as is the Infiniti part. Please give me a heads-up. IF you could upload the video with the panel disassembly will be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the delay bro. I used the Whole Nissan rogue system because I ripped my Infiniti cables to shreds!
The downside to the Nissan Rogue actuator is that the Skeleton key does not work for me. :(
The 1 thing u ain't show in this video is exactly what pin you manipulated for it to open form the old one.. i'm currently at the state where i have the panel off, have half the actuator broken off with all the mechanisms exposed.. but i cant seem to find that perfect pin to hit for the release..
