The love this couple has for each other is almost like a fairy tale. They seem utterly bereft when they are not together, and they light up with joy when reunited. I’ve never experienced a love like this and it makes my heart race. I wish them all a quick recovery and that they’ll be in one another’s arms again soon.

With so many stressors, I’m amazed that you continued to make videos and include us in your difficult days of parenting while ill and apart. You model that love is a verb through your acts of devotion and care, especially in the hardest situations. Luce’s tenderness toward her doll reveals the love circulating in your family. Luce is such a happy and well adjusted little light of a baby girl. Seeing her loving her baby dolls so much and being so caring of them, speaks volumes as to the love and caring she's receiving from both of you. I hope you are feeling much better Sara and that Luca's tests all came back with good news. I spent 4 days in the hospital after getting food poisoning a few years ago and it took me about 3 weeks or more to fully recover. I haven't eaten and won't eat again what just about did me in. The hospital listed me as in critical condition. Keeping you guys in my prayers as the storms of life seem to keep coming. Praying for protection for all of you and that the path before you will be made brighter, clearer and so much better. May God be with you always. Amen.

Illness has a nasty habit of striking at the most inconvenient times... nights, weekends, holidays... Sara, hope you make a full recovery soon, with Luca, Luce and Love by your side. I’m so sorry you all were sick on vacation Luca. I wish Sara a speedy recovery from her illness. Take care of yourself too Luca. Get out in the sunshine. It’s very healing. Drink some healing teas-Elderberry for Immune System, Ginger for nausea, and Tulsi Sweet Rose which is good for anxiety. Right now I am drinking Bigelow’s Blackberry with Zinc. It’s helping me with a sore throat. Take care. Give Luce a big hug. ❤
I love the Tulsi Sweet Rose tea also! I drink it with a little honey in it, sometimes I add a little cream. This time of year I drink it cold, twice a day when taking my supplements. It is great for counteracting the cortisol stress hormone when under stress. Love the flavor and fragrance of the Rose in it. ^_^

I am 85. I used to travel widely from Michigan all over the world as a group leader. My secret: I told all my guests to start taking Pepto Bismol losengers 10 days before we were to leave. Then take one every other day as we traveled. It coats your stomach. My people had very few illnesses. I am not a doctor, so consult a health care professional. We traveled in China, USSR, Russia later, Egypt, Turkey, as well as the developed countries.

It makes me so sad that you were all literally 'punched in the gut' by this awful sickness no matter how you got it. Sara, I hope by the time you see this you are feeling a good deal better and soon feel totally healthy so that you may happily get on with the things you want to do. Luca, it makes me shudder to even think of not only the horrible day that you had with what surely, for me, would have been terrifying and exhausting tests and now to wait for results brings more anxiety. May all of the results be perfect this time around so that you can all breathe tremendous sighs of relief and be able to let go of the tension that you have lived with for far too long now.
Luce never ceases to bring me joy. When feeling good she is such a sparkle of light. Daddy and daughter dancing together was wonderful and mamma getting a hug and then another hug on the beach must have felt so good🥰

It feels wrong to "like" this, but I know it's important for the algorithm. I'm so sorry that everything went wrong on your holiday. It feels so unfair. I know life cannot be viewed in terms of fair or unfair, but this does feel like incredibly bad luck. Despite everything, Luce is still experiencing gentle and loving parenting. I'm sure there are also moments of impatience because you are human beings, but it's clear that your focus is always on her happiness and wellbeing. She is a very fortunate girl. Let us hope that you are turning the corner now, and that good luck will follow you for many years to come. You definitely deserve it!

Sorry to hear of the illness you all got. Sara, get better very soon :). I hope the workers put a waterproof membrane around the patio where they applied new cement :). Better to be safe than sorry. Hope this does the trick and no more leaks. Now you have to repair the inside. Good luck with checkup.

We too feel strongly for you all. Being unwell when your young one is also sick is so hard. As parents you want to be able to provide for your family all the care needed but are too sick. We are so pleased to see your health recovering.
NOW! IS THE TIME TO TAKE TWO WEEKS OFF. We your online followers will all understand you need to recover and gain strength.

If your neighbors are already repairing everything, you should perhaps consider re-covering your entire roof with new roof tiles so that it is well ventilated in the future and remains watertight even during the increasingly frequent heavy rain events, otherwise it will be a never-ending story with constant construction sites. And the roof tiles should be well secured and not just weighed down with stones.
The multi-layered waterproofing on the terrace is a good thing. I hope you and the professionals have checked the slope with a spirit level so that the water from the terrace runs into the drainpipe at the right slope. The slope should be between 2% and 3% for it to work.
What you should also consider is a split air conditioning system with heating, cooling and dehumidifying functions. With the dehumidifying function you could dehumidify the apartment in such cases and since I saw that you don't have any radiators, you could heat with this air conditioning in an emergency if the gas fails. The roof area of yours is also large enough that even a solar system could compensate for this power consumption.
Heat pumps take very little energy- electricity
VERY LiTTLE- they are wonderful for heat and sir!!

We build the house from the foundation to the roof, we renovate from the roof to the foundations. I wish you a speedy recovery. Also remember that air travel is not very safe after a stroke.
