This is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched on YT. Tim, consummate professional with great narration and questions and then Charles!! I watched the show years ago when it was on Discovery, you get an idea of the people being filmed but obviously not really. I knew Charles was the shop manager but his paint knowledge, kindness and intelligence are so much obvious in this format! Charles you really are incredibly gifted and your answers, self demeaning statements (You don’t make mistakes because you do it right the first time like the orientation of the trunk) and your dedication are a treat to watch! Last man standing this day at the shop was the manager! Tim, I wish you could loop Noah into a segment some day! Noah didn’t get to where he is without some serious knowledge being learned over the years so as refreshing as it was to see more of Charles it would be nice to see Noah’s contributions! Thanks guys!
Thanks! This is really why the channel exists. Aside from the building of the actual cars, we get to overhear so many conversations that would be fascinating for car guys to be a fly on the wall for. Looking forward to sharing more with you all.
I painted my first car in 1986 and shot my last one four years ago... pearls flames graphics candies... restomod builds restorations one offs etc... it is great to finally see someone on a channel that not only understands exactly the theory and strategy about painting, all the why and how and etc but also translates that knowledge into the physical act of painting with correct form and panel attack... job well done sir.
Once again you guys show that custom quality work you take the time to make sure you have enough of the base coat ahead of time so that everything is covered the same color with no high's or low's and/or off shadows. That's what I call Master craftsmenship of professional painting. That is very beautiful.
Tim...intelligent questions! Charles, intelligent answers! Straight to the point and no beating around the bush. It is also awesome to the owners knowing what the hell they are doing. =)
I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷 and I always watch the videos on your channel. It's impressive how dedicated you are and how exemplary the quality of work is in everything you do. Truly a sight to behold. This car will be wonderfully beautiful to look at. It will give the owner a lot of pride and satisfaction.
So nice to see you guys using Glasurit, it has to be one of, if not the best, 2k system available. Forget your PPGs, Valspar/DeBeers, or DuPont... My Subaru was refinished in Glasurit base/clear but it was the DP40 that let it down and is showing through after just a few short years. Little (large!) lesson in choosing one system and sticking with it!! Love the green BTW, colour o' money!!
Man, would be awesome to have you guys work on my 09 Challenger. I had a 68 Charger in high school and it was the factory dark green- wasn’t bad, but your green is killer. Anyway, great vids. If you’re a car nerd they’re never too long.
I swear I must. I’ve been related to Henry Ford. My basic philosophy is “you can have any color you want as long as it’s black “to me. The car got ruined with green. But I’m really glad everything‘s not black. It’s not for everybody for sure. But so much work to put “chump change green” on such a beautiful car.😢

Those lines are crispy af. Love the green!

Nice work 👌. Great to see people who know their job👍.
Attention to detail is amazing 👌
Amazing video. Love the added tips & commentary on the paint process.
Great work on filming and painting!!!
Thank you very much!
That Charger body style has to be one of the best ever, and you guys have elevated it. Great color and awesome insight into the painting process.

Thanks for the paint education!
Awesome work and great episode!!
Glad to see it finally getting done and I'm sure it will look great. Should be the best 68 ever!
This might be my favorite build you guys have done...I've said that about all of your builds though!

I had no idea this guy was a painter. For some reason I thought he was a designer or project manager! nice work!
Charles is a very talented painter. That’s what he did for a lot of years before he became our general manager. Thanks for watching!
just got back from an ocean cruise to see this. awesome
Love that color. Can’t wait to see the finished piece. 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻
Love this green. Would love it on my 4X4 Tacoma but with a more satin finish.
There is a color that Fender Guitar Co. offered back in the 50's and 60's called Sherwood Green and ice always wanted to see it on a hot rod.
Thanks for sharing , as you promised 👌🙏

More pressure through the gun Charles !!
Parabéns pelo seu brilhante trabalho !!
I think I've seen every paint shop employee paint a car now. Not typical of most high end shops.
We have a lot of talented people that work for CCS. Thanks for watching! 👍

Eu sou Brasileiro e sou da capital de são Paulo, e sou seu fã.
