I'm looking into early 1900's illustrations, They are basically hatches, but in the case of a Locomotive there are cogs, cogwheels. I was just looking for a tip like this amybe something for you to look into for a future tutorial.
Are you using inkscape 1.3.1? I ask because Inkscape on X said to hold off on using it because of a bug and they haven't said when to download the fixed version just yet.
Hey, so I know this is an Inkscape video, but I'm having a problem with Gimp and am wondering if you might know how to fix it. The edits and options under my toolbox have disappeared. Not the tools themselves, just everything below the foreground/background color blocks have vanished and I don't know how to get them back. I can't edit any of the tools I'm trying to use and no Google searches are helping.

Hello Michael, congratulations Top tutorial.🔝🔝🔝👏👏🎬💥👍
Can this be done centered on an ellipse rather than a circle?
What if, after selecting the items in order, I wanted the placement to start at the top of the circle instead of the left or right sides?
I figured it out. Use the rotate clockwise or counter clockwise 90 degree tool before aligning.
