I’m using one as a sugar bowl for coffee. Well, Stevia, but you get the idea. Nectar color with the flower lid.

Though I'm glad I watched this video, because it gave me a solid starting point, BUT, holy moly, over a minute of into? Why? And, no seasoning? Really? Why not at least say "season to taste"?

I have 4 of the mini bean pots. Got them as a gift a years ago, and I've never used them... no idea what to do with them.

Very cool ? And what have you cooked so far with them ? They're $80 each and you can't even fit a quail in them... why would anyone waste their money... are you on an eggs only diet ?

Love these recipes, but it takes twice the time (more like 30 minutes) to cook then the video says (at 325F) so makes sure you adjust accordingly.

If I were to bake a casserole in one of these, how would I know how long to bake it? I'm assuming the time would be drastically shorter than if I were cooking in a 9x9 dish.

To be honest, there's not much you can "make" in these, but they are amazing for presentation.
Make stew the day before, heat stew in the little pots and serve your guests. Put some veggies and patatoes on a plate and put the cocotte on the plate.
Or top the stew with mashed patato and make individual servings of shepards pie.
This works with any slow cooked food that you make in a large pot.
Make single servings of your favorite lasagna or moussake recipes in these
Make french onion soup and transfer to cocotte and broil with some cheese on top
Par-boil some slided potato and make patato gratin with bechemel and cheese
You can make mini pies in these
You can make all kinds of desserts in these, like tiramisu or puddings, but also things that need an oven like mini cakes and stuff.
Get my drift? You don't really make anything in these (lets be honest, the egg recipes are lame as f***), you mainly use them to make singe servings of a food you would normally serve in a big dish or pot. It looks nice, and you can surprise your guests with what's under the lid. It's like a fancy serving bowl with the added benefit of surviving in the oven.

They are not "mini-cocoes" Michael, they are "cocottes", that's 'coc - cots'. it's okay not to speak French but after the long intro of French everything it sounds a bit silly to get it wrong.
