Thanx for a wonderful video again Avinash. Few thoughts :
1. It is very disappointing to see the quality of road between two big cities like Dehradun and Chandigarh. This journey shouldn't take 5.5 hours. Not more than 2.5-3 hours should be the norm
2. You mentioned Kaulan Wala Bhud. That brought back so many beautiful memories of my trips though Morni hills. We have travelled many times on the Morni to Sherla Taal - Badyal - Neemwala - HP / Haryana Border - Kaulan Wala Bhud - Burma Papdi -Sain Wala - Nahan route. It is the most beautiful journey. Also, a road goes left from Kaulan Wala Bhud towards the beautiful hamlet of Jaman Ki Sair, about 6 kms short of the village of Lowasa Chowki,which is on the Nahan Kumarhatti Highway (29 kms from Nahan)
3. In December 2023, the Delhi Dehradun Expressway will be thrown open to public. You will start from Dehradun, reach Ganeshpur in 15 mins, then Saharanpur in 30 mins, and Shamli in another 30 mins. From Shamli, a new upcoming expressway will take you to Ambala in about 1 hour.

What is this smart card? Can you explain in brief on how to get it and what are its advantages?
It can be made at any HRTC bus stand and HRTC counters at Chandigarh-43 and Delhi ISBT.
It costs 50₹ and is valid for 2 years. It makes you eligible for 10% discount in HRTC NON-AC buses (Ordinary and Deluxe). It’s also valid in AC and Volvo buses from October to March.
Also, carry a passport size photo with you to the counter.
