I practically crapped myself when I saw the video this morning! Did NOT see this coming! I can't wait! It's so cool to see all the park/coaster enthusiasts getting excited about it this morning! Woo hoo!
I both like and don’t like this choice. I like that it is unique and I have wanted to try a tilt coaster. Ultimately, i don’t think a tilt coaster will be that different from a dive coaster. The motion of the tilt will be different, but the drop will feel like a small dive coaster.
I don’t think you realize how elite sirens curse looks. It looks extremely aggressive with the forces, especially the airtime and speed, the pacing looks amazing, and the layout flows perfectly from element to element. This is pretty much vekoma’s best work to date and is everything I really want in a coaster.
Definitely shocked me, in a good way. Looks cool. Im glad our friends from Cedar Fair have carried the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World" branding over to Six Flags. Tells me they're committed to the park and bringing more exciting coasters to Ohio!
Locating a Tilt Coaster next to their Dive Coaster seems a little weird. I agree with you….I wish it would have been a Mack Extreme Spinning Coaster instead.
The reason they added to cedar point and not other parks is because cedar point got extremely busy this summer. I waited 50 mins for Maverick with a fast pass 3 weeks ago. Cedar Point needs more coasters to address the crowd size. I heard it’s only 2 trains tho 😢
I still want the Mack Extreme Spinner better and faster/taller than Time Traveler with a western frontier theme in the Snake River Falls plot of land. That would be amazing and fit perfectly in that shady-ish area. Make that the CP project 2026/2027 instead of flat rides.
I'm all for it. After this years disappointment their loyal customers deserve this. I live in Florida and try to make it out to the park every 2 to 3 years. Booked a trip in April to spend 3 days at the park in the last week of August. Specifically booked the trip to ride TT2. We were told it would "not be a whole summer thing," so I held onto my reservations with the hope it would open before my trip. Obviously, TT2 did not open. Still had a great time. But it did hurt to walk past the coaster multiple times a day and see it not operating. Left a bad taste in my mouth since thousands of dollars were spent just to ride that coaster. My brother and I agreed we wouldn't be back for at least 3 years. If they are able to get TT2 working and the tilt is operational, I will definitely be back next August or September. Love this addition and can't wait to get back to the park to ride it. Game on!
This looks like a really nice ride. I dig the tilt gimmick. The ride should be solid and smooth. I hope they plant some trees or do something around the coaster eventually because it's pretty empty. I hate the red color track for this one.
Very excited to hear that a tilt coaster is coming to Cedar Point! Certainly didn't see this coming. Love the sirens theme and Erie Lake creatures idea. It's about time they focused on themes surrounding the lake around the park! Hope that they could do some cool theming elements in the queue as I thought I heard something about siren's singing audio to be heard on way up the lift.
Aside from that teaser we got last week, this might be the most shocking coaster addition in years?! I mean, there has been absolutely No rumors, no speculation, not even a WHIFF of a sign that they were adding in something like THIS in a spot there? Even with the teaser, we never really assumed a record breaking tilt coaster, did we? It’s like we were so distracted by TT2 and Snake River Falls that this crept up on us...
I get the take that tilt coasters are gimmicky, but I think this layout looks really good too. The first twisted airtime hill, the super whippy inversions, and the twisted triple down under the tunnel all look great to me. Also according to RCDB, it's unfortunately only going to have 2 trains.
I think this will be a great addition! I know you're not thrilled about it, but keep your mind open. You might be pleasantly surprised. Next year is going to be a great year for the park hopefully, with the return of TT2, Millennium Force's new lift motor & controller, and now Sirens Curse! It's going to be awesome!
This looks like an awesome coaster definitely would be a great addition to the park and if TT2 gets fixed and reopens it would make 2025 a great year for cedar point along with all the other great coasters coming to the other Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks for 2025 have a great day guys
I've heard of another legend recently: "The 2024 CP season hearkens to the legend of running trains on Top Thrill 2: often spoken of but never spotted. The sirens of the coaster, who lured out-of-town parkgoers with their seductive "not an all-summer-long thing" songs of its downtime, will finally rise to land and entrap those suckers in a Top-Thrill-2-less trip of wasted money, crushed dreams, and broken trust." ... sorry ... had to... 😅
I like when parks do something unexpected and you dont see it coming, looks like a good fit and theme for a park that sits on a peninsula, hopefully my home park Kings Island can build something nice for their next one as well!
Just the thought of a tilt coaster has always been intensely frightening to me, so I’ve got to ride it at least once! They just look so dangerous though!
It's an interesting addition to Cedar Point, though it's a bit odd given that Valravn is in the same park. Can't say a tilt coaster at CP isn't kind of fitting for a park with tons of roller coasters, though. BTW, this seems to be in the original wild mouse plot, which desperately needed something there.
It’s in the land outside of the park at the moment, but very close to the old wild cat plot. And this will definitely give a different experience from a dive. The layout looks great after the drop
@BeachcliffStudios After seeing the twist on the drop, the non inverted dive I think it is, and the underbridge dive, I think these elements will make this probably a better ride than Valravn. It actually looks surprisingly snappy and kind of reminds me of Fahrenheit at Hershey Park in terms on layout excluding the lift and drop.
I was JUST about to text you asking you what your thoughts were on this 😂 (I hate that its red... I hope they change it. Im tired of the dull colors, and the RED. Why wasnt it like Lake Erie green? Or teal-ish or hell..purple!)
Awesome! this will be "sweat". As you noted relating to the timing it must be a purchase that another park failed on, and with the pathetic failure of TT2 this will provide CP positive outlook. "YOU" appear/sound afraid,lol.....great review!
The one that was rumored to go to Six Flags Mexico is the one that was originally going to energylandia. This one and that one are 12ft apart in height so that’s making me question if it’s the same one. Plus Six Flags Mexico is supposed to be getting a new coaster last we heard.
I couldn’t believe when I woke up this morning see cedar point notification on my phone seeing cedar Point opening a new coaster for 2025 first I saw it on TikTok and now I saw it on Facebook. I said to myself is this real.
Yeah, I know now it’s real because I saw it on Cedar Point UA-cam page and I’m excited for this new coaster. I thought it would be like a water coaster not like a tilt coaster. I was not expecting this but maybe next time they will build a new water coaster. I’m excited for the new coaster lineup.
Coming from a coaster enthusiast and a CP regular, I’m a bit underwhelmed. Looks fun BUT it’s taking Valravn’s whole gimmick of hanging you off the side, doing it better, and it’ll be right next to it putting it to shame. Why would they do that? And the layout is pretty basic otherwise. Glad the space where Wildcat used to be across from Iron Dragon is being used though at least. Hope this doesn’t affect them getting TT2 up and running efficiently and consistently next season. Mach Extreme Spinner 2028 maybe? 🤞
The layout looks pretty good, not disappointed in that. Personally my fear of heights may be an issue with this one. Every other coaster is fine but this could stir up some emotions 😂
Chuck here, this will be a great new edition for the park . Cedar Point needs to give Season Fast Lane Plus holders from 2024 unlimited rides on both Top Thrill 2 and the new Sirens Curse in 2025 to make up for their unkept promise for unlimited rides on Top Thrill 2 for Season Fast Lane Plus holders in 2024.
I just cant understand why they are putting it next to valrayvn ...its kinda same concept..go up the lift hill ..stop. hold. Go down...now im very very curious whats gonna go where snake river falls is ..possibly 2027 could be the biggest coaster theyve built in a long time.
At this point I only want this new coaster to have high capacity and reliability. I don't mind if the coaster its self isn't too exciting, I just want to be able to move through the line quickly and without hearing the dreaded "Attention Riders" announcement.
The one that was supposed to go to Six Flags Mexico was the one that was going to energylandia. The issue with this is that the height is different from energylandia and cedar point’s.
@BeachcliffStudios This ride wasn't even planned for CP. Six Flags Mexico got denied the use because of neighbor complaints and taking down trees. All I know is it is coming from Mexico...It's 13 feet which can be made up. Unlike a traditional coaster they could have just extended or shortened the runout. Six Flags already had purchased it. If it was a planned ride there would have been way more teasers as well as it not being red next to 2 other red coasters. Personally I think MiA should have got it but that's just me.
Definitely the most unnecessary addition and one that makes the least sense if you look at how many parks in the chain haven’t received a coaster or new ride in years, this investment strategy from SF and CF needs to change desperately if they want to increase their memberships across the chain.

GCI, or Gravity Group would be a Great Choice to build Cedar Point's next Woodie. BTW, PipeScream will ALWAYS BE considered a Flat as a Pancake Ride. Sirens Curse will be Cedar Point's 18th Rollercoaster!!🤣🤣🤣

the park does not need more flat rides. it needs a raptor, infinity coaster, or extreme spin.
