It's about sex same love, in a small town, their parents don't approve, so they have to avoid each other in public as not to out themselves, he thinks he would have learnt by now that it's wrong, but in his heart he can't stay away.
One my favourites from the debut for sure.

That was my very first song I heard about the 1975 and I've heard this almost a decade ago, I used to listen to this song everytime I walk to school with my earphones on in the cold, 6am in the morning. So nostalgic for me, since then, they were my favourite band of all time ❤️🤌🔥
