I've been meaning to replace my reverse bulbs with LEDs for years for the same reason, tint. I'm finally getting around to it and have read a lot about bulb (seating) depth being an issue. I found the shortest, "no-error" bulbs possible and they appear much shorter than those in this video. I'm still hitting that metal plate; the 2 Philip's screw heads for which can be seen at 2:38. That plate seems to be angled just enough to get in the way of any non-standard bulb, what did you do about that? I could just remove but was concerned it might be a heat shield for the plastic above.
I wanna say thank u very much.. had to change 3 light bulbs today.. reverse, the maker lights which I couldn’t find a video. And the rear tail light... the guy at auto zone give me the wrong bulb.. any vid on change the maker light
@@23j13 I found some on amazon that did not have any error codes but is a little too long. It still works if you put it in a certain way. Useful video. My on my advice is to remove the garbage from your car before the next one.
