Isobo is part of Igbo mainland but was cut off when Gowon reshaped the Eastern Nigeria by creating East Central State, Rivers State and Cross River State. Successive military administration further caved out part of Abia State to join Akwa Ibom State. They did alk this on purpose to make sure Igbo Heartland is landlocked without having access to the ocean frontline and also to deprive them from having crude oil deposits. But now, there are many discovery of crude oil in some South East states.

Thanks for the good work. My problem is how will these communities be integrated in the case of division if Nigeria as a country because we know it's going to happen. Only God knows when but it's question of time. Will they be comfortable joining the Igbos in the SE just like the Igbos in Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa that have refused to be classified as Igbo. Will this lead to a greater war when it's happens?. I know there are lot more of these communities in Benue, Koji, Taraba etc
