Also, ice can help stop it as well. Don’t pinch the nose or hold the head backwards, you’ll lean forward instead. Avoid aspirin and try not to swallow any blood.
If you do swallow the blood it'll clot up in the esophogus and then your body will emit it out of the mouth most of the time. Depends how much you swallow. Blood will clot even outside of the body. I've had enough extreme anterior nosebleeds to say this.

Can you explain how inflammatory disease cause nose bleeds .is it systemic effect of inflammation (cytokine induced)???
