One thing most of us all will all deal with at one point or another is a nosebleed. Nosebleeds (also called epistaxis) are very common as 60% of people will have at least one nosebleed in their lifetime. Because of the location of the nose in the middle of your face and the large number of blood vessels close to the surface in your nose lining, the nose can be an easy target for nosebleeds and injuries. In this video I will go over the two kinds of nosebleeds which are described by the site of the bleed. The two main types are anterior nosebleed and posterior nosebleed, with one being more serious than the other.

What about antifungal drugs like itaconazile and ketoconazole doctor ?
I have been taking anti fungal drugs for like 4 years now due to my jock itch not getting completely healed.
Will these drugs trigger nose bleed in the long run ?

Sir my son is having nose bleeding problem since last two and half year. I checked the time duration whenever there is a weather change, and due to crying more water gets drained from his nose and it becomes dry. Bleeding stops within 2 to 3 minutes but this situation occurs on a regular basis. Please show us the right path and it would be great if we get some medical help. My son is 9 years old.

Thanks doctor! My case is that i felt the sensation of flowing something (when j was doing exercises) through my nose, definitely blood but nothing came out of nostrils. But the day after i had runny nose and when i sniffed i could see some droplets of blood which may got settled somewhere in nostrils. Now due to this I got sniffy nose and my body temperature raised. Doctor I was getting nose bleeding a couple of months ago that's why I visited to an ENT specialist and he said me that I've a DNS and it needs to be operated otherwise the bleeding won't stop so I got operated on 1st of April 2024 but the problem didn't go as of now I'm also getting blood from my left nostril. Please let me know. If it is ok for my 8 year old son to get nose bleeds every 3-4 months once. It lasts less than one min. Mostly it happens due to allergy or cold. His nose is blocked for a few days, as the episode ends he bleeds and it gets cleared. He doesn't have sleep apnea now. Thank u doctor.
If nose is inflamed, nose bleeds can occur. Follow the simple procedure mentioned in the video. Also educate your child to not to pick his nose.
