ROAD TRIP ADVENTURE to Abandoned Ghost Towns in Rural Ontario, Canada

- We recently took a road trip adventure to visit two abandoned Ghost Towns located in Renfrew County in Ontario, Canada. Many of the buildings were in a sad state of disrepair, slowly rotting and decaying with the passage of time, but we still had a great time exploring and learning more about the history of these once busy and bustling communities.
Well I love old building structures, being a retired underground miner and living in a NE Ontario mining town, I love old mines and their surface structures....the history!
For the information on those interested, the places featured in this video are located on what is known as the Opeongo Road.

@@wanderingspirits9066A Man named Ron Brown, put out Two books called Ghost villages of Ontario. Newfoundout was one of those places.
Very interesting locations. That's awesome that the guy bought the property to fix up. Would love to do a paranormal investigation in some of those buildings and any nearby cemeteries. I wonder how that car broke apart like that.
Thank you so much! We have a few neat locations that we've explored and will be uploading soon. We also find ourselves wondering things like that - why is the car there? How did it break apart? All kinds of question we might never know the answers to but our imaginations sure run wild!

I dont understand why Ontario got out of the logging industry. Now that we dont manage the forests through careful logging, and diease management, we have more forest fires. The sawmills were all over the north. Instead we buy wood products from the destruction of the Amazon forest.
Wind and water are very noisy techy girl, lol
