Plot twist: aadar IS sitting in a salon

This is the real "FRIENDS REUNION" !!! Seeing all 4 together after a long time😄😄
Taun nau na na na nau nau...
Fun fact: The Sommelier exam that Aadar was talking about is a highly revered thing in the wine industry. Those who pass the exam are called Master of Wine(MW) and requires years and years of education and experience. I am currently studying to be even considered for the exam, which is going to be minimum 8-10 years down the line. Really hoping that I'll make this dream into a reality 😄
So much effort to just flex👍🏼
So what do ppl get when they become MW, as in what advances in their career.
Wow ! Thats a real offbeat career choice !
All the very best man !

Hi Pradnaya!
Thanks for this info and many best wishes to you. Can you share any more info regarding this, the process for preparation, the exam, and the next steps, etc. Thanks.
As a 17-year-old now, it is so gratifying to hear these uncle log also have similar experiences as us.... Tho it kind of says something about the system not changing anything in decades
Bro still nowdays we all have more opportunity so Capitelize that.
It's because the policy makers are still the same boomer generation bro... Jab ppl frm our generation become policy makers, den u will start seeing the change.. Abhi sab buddhe log abhi tk 70s mai atke hai
Bro .. uncle Bol diya .. ye log ro denge ..
@@mikestan1000 you know future generation will be more advanced than us then they'll too think the same way about us...but but... the thing is we'll not be regressive like our times policy makers but not be fully relatable to our future generation

Bawa so smart... when he receives the question paper HE checks it and gives grades to the teacher.
Varun and Gayatri sitting in a tree:
C-O-P-Y-I-N-G!
When your teacher walks up to you during an exam and looks at your paper then shouts " guys please make sure you read the questions carefully"
(Varun's Thumbnail face)
Oh god. I forgot about this. What a blast from the past. Good god. This was always horrifying. Ki bhai ITNA galat hai mera answer ke tu poori exam HALL ko warning diya??!
I can relate a lot to bawa when he said that teachers never told us why we are learning certain things. All through school I'd read through all my textbooks in the summer holidays because I'd enjoy reading the brand new books without the pressure of exams etc. And my school was good enough to let me write in exams in my way so I got away with concise answers without extra fluff and scored good marks. But as I entered college and postgrad it changed from learning to remembering things for an exam and answer lengths that it completely killed my motivation for studying at this point.
I think the education system is just as worse today. Now the rat race starts earlier with jee/neet coaching starting at 6th class 🤦🏻♂️
Best is kautuk describing that girl panicking to finish her paper !!!!
I would pay good money to read Kautuk's essay 'majha baap shetkari ahe'
Doesn't kautuk look like he would hve given every exam of every field like ca bhi diya hoga iit bhi saath mein ias ki taiyaari
yes he looks exact "padhaku"
Exactly!😂

Sorry Varun's Cousin, you were right!
I still remember in 4th I was really weak in Hindi was going to fail to maine "Jai Shree Ram" se 2 bhej badhdiye teacher and my parents bohot hase ki iss ki wajah se hi pass hua

Bawa is backkkk !!!! Missed his presence in the last few TISS episodes.
Guess who's back; Back again

Original OG ish, Bawa is back
When Kautuk refered to his vadil as "mazha" instead of "mazhe" I legit though he was going to say "Mazha baap shetkari ahe."
The backbencher energy in this podcast is crazy amazing and I'm living for it😂😂
It's been 12 years and still my flex is I got 98 in Hindi 10th CBSE
Neville had Viraf Dalal chemistry. The "blue colour textbook" is still used in ICSE grade 10!! Thats how outdated our education system is!
That's the one I had too!! 2005 batch. ICSE. Baad mein that went into the hand-me-downs to younger cousins also in ICSE.
“Crocin kyu lene bol raha hai?” was the highlight for me 🤣

This acting was honestly pointless in the long run
When bawa finally figure out how to solve the question he skipped in the Exam.

This was the best episode in a long time. So many personal stories, so relatable.
Even I used to do the "Does the word seem virtually right?" in languages ke exams😂🤣😂🤣😂
One of the best episodes. Entertaining till the end and so very relatable. It's funny how u guys had so many similar experiences like most of us especially varun and aadar stories were like flashback to childhood. Special hugs and hearts to varun...❤️❤️😘😘 Listen him talk, nd you can come out of depression. As if it's ur buddy sitting next to you and chitchat ting.
There's one more video with Sahil shah where they discuss some what similar topic. Check it out if you're interested
Firstly, so excited to see Bawa!! Secondly, I’m rewatching because I was half listening at work. This whole time I thought Bawa was talking about financial instrument derivatives LOLLLL (I think you can probably tell which field I work in lolol)
What I like about your show is Varun makes sure the show is on track. Cotuk makes good perspectives. Adar makes it funny and Neville eloborate the perspectives. It’s just a perfect blend of information + fun. Thank you guys for doing this!!
Me listening to TISS Dream episode in Spotify before bed.
*In my dreams*
Varun : Welcome to the episode where we talk random shocks
KauTuk : So Siddhi & I .
Bawa: Sorkin and Rothschild .
Adhaar card : Guys, I have a fact.
Not KT. Never KT.
Welcome back bawa, idk what it was but something wasn't right in the past two episodes. All 4 of y'all together is much more enjoyable. GG!
VIRAF Dalal is an iconic Chemistry Book and I’ve seen testimonials from a teacher from school. 😂
Me throughout the podcast : Yes! “Nostalgia intensifies ”.
Wrote behind a scientific calc with a pencil. It's so light that you have to tilt it slightly to see it. That calc was passed throughout the whole class 😂
Much love to TISS ❤️
You guys are great
Bawa's back, then I'm back. I can't watch TISS without Bawa

I knew bawa would say that "Is it really congratulations" 😂😂
Ohhh God so relatable to the school topper who screamed suppliment.... I was exactly that topper who studied through the year got first rank every single time, took tonnes of supplements in a super panic mode..... I just lived that moment here and laughed so much 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Viraf Dalal is still the same but with more recommendations.
Kautuk's composition story Is the best... he is criminally underrated as a storyteller
Idk why but Aadar looks lke a Junior Amrish Puri with the shawl lol
I have a similar experience as Aadar does, my school had introduced an app for all the important updates about exams and other things and I didn't own a phone in my 12th class and to add to the injury I didn't used to check my mother's phone as I was preparing for my JEE Mains(IIT) exams and on the day of my CHEMISTRY PRACTICAL my mom recieved a call saying that "Your son has his practical exam today, can you plz send him or he will fail."
So I dressed up and ran to give my practical exam and the crazy thing was I didn't prepare for the practicals the whole year but the unimaginable thing was the external invigilator knew who my father was and after seeing me crying, he gave me 24/30 and saved my ass.
Fun fact: This was last year in January.
21:51 .. Excellent bit by Kautuk .. Laughed a lot ..
I am a school teacher right now and I have so much to contribute to this podcast!!! I've had an education exactly like you guys did and hated every bit of it. Just like Bawa, I used to hate the act of studying. Jo class me sunaa, jo mujhe samajh aaya concept, uss hi k basis pe pass kiya hai 12th tak somehow. I never knew the joy of learning till I started my graduation in English. My God! What a completely different world I was exposed to! Mera opinion puchha gaya tha har assignment me! Mere opinion ki itni value?! I'm glad I got experience that because now as a teacher, I want to give each student these 'aha' moments, and enjoy learning. I'm now basically rebuilding my school days. School concepts I'm understanding only now! I teach in a quite an elite school doing experiential learning so all the learning is fun, has relevance and focus is not on exams but learning skills and reasoning. I wish this kind of education could reach all schools. You are right in saying that the situation in most schools hasn't yet changed since our time. It will take another 10-20 yrs easily for change to reach grassroot level. Anyhow, really enjoyed this episode. Super relate.
TISS feels like a warm hug ❤️

We need Biswa or someone who studied in school to justify this podcast... Lol
It's great to see that Varun's try hojesh and chaapesh have entered everyone's vocabulary. Way to go 😂
Bawa is back ! Yay! Missed seeing all of ya 4 together ! 😃😃😃
Thanks A Lot....with the "Hmmm" part I laughed so hard after a long time, great to see you all together ❤️
Bawa and i have a 20 year gap and the chemistry textbooks was still the same😂
I am doing my MA right now all because I wanted to learn more, but man I hate the assignments so much. (We do not have exams)
I have realized that I hate being evaluated. It really takes away the fun from wanting to learn.
I'm thinking about doing MA how is the general experience in MA
@@nikhilmakwana5366 truly depends on what you want to do and where you want to pursue it from. My university is somewhat better than DU at handling the pandemic situation but honestly everything is a shit show rn. If you can then wait till covid leaves us. For my batch UGC changed rules and now all of us are doing a 1.5 year long masters rather than the usual 2 years. Mental health is fuckedddd. Teachers are annoyed and honestly only the University is happy because they are getting money.
Bawa wapis aa gaya 😭❤️
Baba is so budha that in all the exam memories he is like "I don't remember which year it was" ☺️
This is one of my favorite episodes. Listening to it for the third time in 10 days.
Listening it for the second time.
I’ve had the privilege of having some amazing teachers. I was friends with them first before the students and I’ve had some great History Teachers.
I did my 10th standard in 2014 and I had the same blue Viraf Dalal chemistry text book like Bawa and Kautuk mentioned.
The remark about how school are right now is relatable.
The approach was mostly far from concepts for me as student.
So as an educator now I try to make it interesting and concept based.
You all are amazing.
Your podcast are so fun and you all share great chemistry.
So Happy to see Bawa!
Really happy to see Neville back❤
I m here just to say that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell😪
So glad Neville is back!

This topic is going to be awesome!! I can feel it.💥😍❤️

Bahut hi mazedaar episode, maza aa Gaya 😂😂😂💃
Oh god I have laughed so much during this episode. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS 🤗
I flipped on" Maza vadil shetkari ahe"😂😂😂
Hi. Guys , Can you make the 100th ep real special by hanging out face to face like good old times and shooting it. Would love to see it.
To Bawa and Kautuk, FYI I passed out from ICSE in 2015 and I did Viraf J Dalal blue colour textbook for Chemistry. It's probably still around. 😂
Bawa on the thumbnail ❤️
Had a shitty morning thanks to Mumbai traffic and rains. You guys are the best antidote for everything
Tiss guys, I have a nightmare for you because now I science topper study with your podcast.😱😱😱😱 I usually listen on Spotify but for this episode I could not wait.
Since we are nearing the 100th episode, it better be special.

Delayed watching this episode... but totally worth the wait. Happy to see Neville again! 😊
This episode got a lot of things back from my school days. -
:After my 10th (CBSE), I wanted to take up Arts. I'd grown up imagining myself pursuing literature and psychology.
I don't know how it is these days, but back in 1990 we had to have our parent/guardian sign the form where we wrote the stream we wanted - Science, Commerceor Arts.
Well, my parents refused to sign the form unless I wrote Science on it.
:I also used to write the questions followed by the answers in the exams.
My answers were extra neat (read - longer than usual spaces between words. )
'Maza vadil shetkari aahe' hilarious. Couldn't control my laughter 😂😂😂
Just don't stop making the TISS episodes ever. Period.
I watched the Oscars in the morning before my 12th Boards English exam
😂Grt. I watched " Breaking bad" night before my chemistry exam. I pissed all over on it.😂

One of my fav recent episode from TISS!brought back so many memories!🤩🤩
The episode is for 100 minutes, still in the end was getting a feeling of why is it ending? So pretty much sums up how addictive this thing is
Kautuk is like Vikkstar from Sidemen. Underrated but Brilliant.
Is it just my school or other CBSE students were also told to write to-point short answers in science in +2 level?
This was one of the best episodes. It reminded me of my college days 😂👍
Neville is textbook ADD bro! Not to be confused with ADHD.
