Seriously, I was flipping through channels and Prince Caspian was coming on and even though the Chronicles of Narnia are not a typical movie this old lady would normally watch, but I did and then, I saw you! OMG, you brought out young stirrings in this old body! So I looked up other movies you did and I watched Dorian Gray! FABULOUS and incredibly sad!

Only season 1 was good.
The writers botched season 2. Especially his character. No tether scenes. No Darklina at all. We had multiple interviewers refer to their love as cosmic relationship or soulmates. Ben even referred to it as yin and yang all the time in season 1.
Then season 2 happened.
I’m still hoping years from now Jessie reveals how much season 2 was awful. Ben too. But they are under a non-disparaging clause most likely.
@chris it's so sad to see Ben went from being so into The Darkling , sharing Demond in the woods to his friends and being positive while talk about the darkling in the interview

@@zackyvwasin339 exactly! There’s even interviews where he’s so excited to see the character development in the future seasons. Yea, both he and Jessie Mei Li thought there would be at least 3 seasons, plural.
He would also always bring up their yin and yang dynamic.
S2 interviews were terrible. I miss s1 hype.

Ben, as a Russian, I get offended too, when they fill the cup with hot water. Then, go do their stuff. Then they come back to that barely hot liquid...and go away again in search for a tea bag...And then come back again to bring me this lurke warm water with a tea bag barely coloring the water...And it's a black tea...My meal is ruined...
I liked this interview. Ben it was so free so open to talk it was very comfortable, that's good. I'm surprised he remembers the first kiss and it was very young at 14, he started his love life very early, from what I understand he has had countless women, I'm surprised but I soon imagined to be a man like him obviously he has many women who want to be with him. He's been used to it since he was very young.😊

He’s not free and open to talk, he’s repeating the same PR catch phrases tgat Eric and the writers room wanted him to parrot. The same writers that ruined the show and Jessie revealed they intentionally removed all romance from Darklina….which was the entire reason the trilogy shot to fame in the first place.
Eric baited Ben with a good role, gave him s1, and Ben was happy about the charcter and the potential growth and the dynamic of yin and yang. He literally mentioned it in every interview in season 1.
Season 2 Eric went ahead and conspired with the writers to ruin the character.
I just can’t believe Ben’s still saying the words Eric wants him to.
