- We're a month away from the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, and we're in full excited mode. If you aren't as excited as us yet, we're going to try and change that with a few classic Sunday Shootouts in the coming weeks. We're kicking things off with the 2011 Shootout, which saw a proper variety of competitor. Relevant for this weekend, we see the Le Mans legend Matra MS670B go head to head with a Lancia LC2 and a few BTCC greats are thrown into the mix. You might even see an original Tesla Roadster take on the Hill... Let us know your favourite run.

Thanks so much for uploading this =) These two Celicas were bonkers, especially the newer one by Adrian Smith, that sprint of the line looked so quick. According to the data sheet on the Fensport website it made 818 hp with Nitrous. Wow.
The Older orange Celica is twin charged (supercharger + turbo) makes it even cooler in my opinion. But both are awesome either way ;)

Pity so many cars had a tough time off the line and also wondering why various single seaters like the Penske were running such low downforce… its wings were flat as if it were left over from its last race on a big oval as opposed to one of its street race set ups, which would’ve certainly resulted in a more accurate time of what it’s capable of.
Very true, a lot of potentially fast cars struggled there. It is not quiet the same car, but a PC22 was driven up the hill very swiftly by Jeremy Smith a few years later I reckon.
It's funny how they have hum from one of the microphone.
What would I have to do to sign up to participate in this event?
The silence from the Tesla was very uninspiring

Back in the day when people actually cared about the event before the Festival pandered to electric cars
