I've "liked" this video although it makes me really sad. At one time or another I've been in nearly all of these pubs, some on a regular basis. Gone.... but NEVER to be forgotten.
Aye, there are plenty more not included. I'm compiling a list of the many more i've had a drink in that are gone & i'll be adding them to the video....
Wow you have a good memory, i have been in 3/4's of them in my youth, I was 17 and an apprentice when i worked round the corner from the market tavern in 1970, that was after going to the old Regent for 3 years before lol
I lived right next door to the Little John for 6 years and played for the football team from 1983 to 1988. We used to go to the Badger on occasions for drinks after the game. Have been in most of those pubs through playing darts and pool. College arms was my regular haunt after work in the Cinema nearby. The Zetland next door was also my regular. T'Old steam pig was run by a mate of mine for a few years back in 2001.

The Globe, The Unicorn, The Zetland. There's lots, and gone mainly because of taxes, one way or another!!

Taxes! Isn’t that a very simplistic explanation, how about change in people’s habits and maybe there where way to many of them?
