Playing some of these amazing songs from the 80's seems ridiculously fun; songs like this gem from Level 42 or some classic Duran Duran have some of the greatest bass hooks I've ever heard. I wonder if the musicians covering these songs ever imagine sipping pina coladas between sets in Monaco or Saint-Tropez circa 1985, wearing a Miami Vice-inspired white silk shirt under a sport coat with the sleeves 1/4 rolled-up, doing a couple lines off of some model's belly on a yacht headed to Ibiza, playing a gig in Gstaad or St. Moritz a week later, then zipping off with another model in a red Porsche 9-11 Turbo to Munich for a few days of R & R.

Nice additions and fills. I like the finger-tapped bit toward the end. One slight critique is that there is a fingered ghost note you're missing during the verses. I love playing this on bass, myself.

Sounds great, but your bass isn’t high enough. To do it like Mark you have to have the upper horn of your bass stabbing you right in the neck with the neck parallel to the ground. Crank that strap in six more inches and you’ll have it nailed.
