- Michael Jordan denied having direct involvement in Isiah Thomas being left off the Dream Team for the 1992 Summer Olympics during the Last Dance documentary but now an audio surfaces MJ refusing to play with the Pistons Guard.

He doesn't say that. He is telling that they called him tos ask him if he wanted to play with Isaiah Thomas and that the told him that Chuck didn't want him on the team.

It was not only Jordan...Pippen didn't want him on the team, Bird had no sympathies for him, Magic and Thomas had beef, Malone didn't like him, Barkley didn't like the Pistons either, actually, everybody hated the Pistons' playing style and if you are their leader you will get the most hate. The funny part is that everyone accepted playing under coach Chuck Daily, who was mainly responsible for Detroit's playing style. That's the controversial and funny part of all that circus.
That's because they respected the hell out of him and he was a tremendous terrific person to be with and we seen that with how the dream team unity came almost immediately

He actually said.. they called to see why I wouldn’t play with Isaiah. They said Chuck didn’t want to play with him either. So he won’t play. The audio didn’t prove the claim.
Jordan was the first person they called. It was not until 1992. This call was in early 1991. Thorpe lied because he wanted a commitment from Jordan

Only morons would ruin team chemistry just to put the #1 player vs a #2 team player. Even if let's say IT is the best PG at the time, #2 or #3 PG who is just as qualified may be the better pick for team chemistry. IT would definitely would've ruined DT.

Because he was friends with Isiah and when it came out that Magic is HIV positive, Isiah spreag very nasty rumors behind Magic, that Magic may be gay. Magic has confirmed that, and that's why their friendship broke up, because he did spread such rumors about the sexuality of Magic. And apart from that, almost no one on the Team wanted to play with Isiah: Magic didn't want, Michael didn't want, Larry didn't want, Scottie didn't want.
Do your research before you play the same old song about that Michael Jordan is guilty of it and he was solely responsible for Isiah not being taken. Isiah ascribes that to himself with his behavior as the general of the Bad Boys and with the unfairness and unsportsmanlike nature like him.
How he dealt with the Chicago Bulls defeat. If he won, then he never had problems shaking hands with the opponent, but if he loses, he has problems shaking hands with the opponent. Just a very pitiful character and he has messed with several players and friends over the years with his selfish character.
I agree with everything you said except the last part.. its funny how no one bashes Bird & the Celtics for walking out on the Pistons when they dethroned them in the ECF & became the new beast in the East.. they were just as physical as Detroit, if not more.. the Knicks too.. then once teams started getting a taste of their own medicine the Pistons are villains (Bad Boys☠) all of a sudden.. Magic, Bird, Jordan, & Pippen were all mad they couldn't compete with the Pistons & blackballed the star player.. However, Zeke was definitely wrong for his accusations of how Magic contracted HIV.. I always felt like he said it outta jealousy because they had a lowkey bromance

You do realize that Isiah never said any of that about Magic. Isiah's brother died of HIV before Magic contracted it. Magic now admits Isiah never said anything & was a rumor someone made up to tarnish Isiah. I believe it was a rumor Jordan made up because he wanted to have that friendship with Magic Isiah did.
The Magic-Isiah fallout over the HIV/gay rumors was after the players were announced though. They announced 10 of the 12 players in September 91’. Magic didn’t even find out he had HIV until a month later, he flew back from a preseason game in Utah and found out. Then retired in November.
Magic may have made sure Isiah was not one of the 2 guys that would be added, but it seems the damage was already done. Isiah just rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and it came back to bite him. It happens.

Nobody wanted to play with Isiah though. When they called MJ, Isiah was already left off the team. It wasn't like Isiah was on the team then as soon as they called Mike, they decided to cut Isiah.
Jordan was the first person they called. Who do you think they would call before Jordan? Magic was retired at that point.
