When Pippen viewed the last dance doc he was salty at how Jordan was portrayed as winning those titles by himself and Pippen knows that he played a vital role in helping the Bulls win but everybody wants to give all credit to Jordan.
@@renatolocsin2741 Well...yeah. He had Kukoc, Armstrong, Horace, Paxson, Phil Jackson and a whole culture that was predicated on standards. Jordan had drug addicts, Kevin Loughery, Stan Albeck AND the Celtics in the first round. The Bulls that one year had an aging Cavaliers. The next year...? 33-31 till Jordan came back, moving them to 47-35.
They keep talking about Isaiah Thomas killed his chances of joining the dream team but they never said how did he kill his chances if killing his chances was not shaking the Chicago bulls hands then that's weak as hell because look with bird in the Celtics did when they beat the Pistons they didn't shake their hand either but nobody said nothing about that
It’s not that simple nobody on the dream team wanted him on that team. Don’t you see how much bad blood he had between the 3 main stars on the team? Nobody likes him . He was toxic and would’ve caused animosity between the team and he would’ve broken the chemistry
@@msimelelo1000 He was the captain of the dirtiest team in the league at the time. Isiah at that moment in time had beef with Magic, he had beef with Larry, he had that incident with Karl Malone, and we all know Jordan & Pippen HATED him. So if the two captains (Magic & Larry) don’t want you AND the best player in the team says he’s not coming if you bring Isiah, sorry you have to leave him out. Petty as it may be, at that time you everything in your power to accommodate your best player to get him to go.
It's just sad that such a great player became so delusional. First comparing himself to Thomas, then MJ. You were a great and underrated player, but for real, go to the park, Scottie.
Some players thrive in systems and some thrive with other players so in Scottie's case the focus of the defense was always on Jordan so that freed Scottie up but when he went to Houston and Portland, he was not the same player then he started calling Barkley fat etc etc because he was not the player he thought he was.
Isaiah is right about Pippen. Isaiah LED the Pistons to back to back championships and almost a 3 peat: Pippen meanwhile was Robin to Jordan’s Batman. He was the second player on the team and no match winner.
Scottie Pippen was robin to batman cause that’s what they got labeled. Mj won one single important game w/out Pippen in uniform after the bulls got him. Mj who gives no credit to anyone gave him one of his mvp finals cars. Pip made the game easier for everybody on those squads and they’ll tell you and he did while Mj was worried about scoring titles and who did the scoring. When Mj retired out of nowhere a few weeks before the season they won 55 games and got robbed in the playoffs against the knicks. Pip one of the best 2 way players to ever play the game w/elite D that’s getting u 20 while fighting for shots and can create for others as well as himself. There isn’t a lot of that since the nba began. The media marketing tool has dumbed the game down to where we call players 1 way players & 2 way players as well as people really believe 1 way good/great players are better than 2 way good/great players and more valuable when that’s impossible. They have hall of fame 1 way players rated over Pippen when he’s better than any 1 way player that can ever be named from the hall of fame on down. He’d make it harder on the 1 way guys than they could ever make it on him but he gets called a Robin. Even the way Isaiah who was raw talks about him and truth be told he’s not a better basketball player than Pip. Overall game isn’t even looked at anymore. When Mj played Pip was being called the best all around player in the game including Mj himself saying it after Dream team to Phil Jackson. The way tv sports media and image creation along with marketing is a lot of people get told what they see and sometimes to uplift some players others get underrated. Pippen & Klay Thompson are at the top of that list. They call Pippen Robin but Mj had to wait on him to beat Detroit. They won 55 games without Mj. Robins can’t do that
@jimmie parker Jordan, Olajuwon, Robinson, Malone, Barkley were all better than Pippen in the 90s. So definitely not top 5. In the 80s he wouldn’t have even been top 20.
@jimmie parker 🎯🎯🎯🎯 Even when Mj retired a few weeks before the season the core he was with won 55 games and people act like that means nothing. They skip that year and say what the bulls record was when Mj came back but they forget to add Horace Grant left. He underrated too. Guard multiple positions, was averaging double doubles and almost double doubles just getting 8, 9, 10 shots a game. Unless you a big it’s still hard to do but he was a non-big.
Barkley was better 90,91,92 and 93. Pippen was better than Barkley in 94,95,96,97 and I wil not count 98 due to the injury. Cieling wise Barkley was a tad better but that’s because most of you fools value point and nothing else. As good of a scorer as Barkley was Pippen’s defense was light years over Barkley and Pippens points would be historicly 7-8 ppg less than Barkley in the glory years. Sorry I’ll take Pip because of EVERYTHING Pip does that Barkley can’t.
No PG Isiah's size (5'11") could take over a game on both ends of the court the way he did. He scored 25pts in he 3rd vs LA in the '88 Finals playing on one leg because he had sprained his ankle in the first half which Detroit was cheated out of because they had LA beat and LA knows that but they called a ticky tack foul on Laimbeer putting Karren at the FT and LA won/
No doubt and keep in mind Isiah is all of 5'11" and still he gave people the business. Check out the videos of Jordan guarding him and Isiah is torching Jordan and I think that may part of the reason why Jordan dislikes Isiah because not many people got the best of Jordan but Isiah did every time they played because John Paxson, Steve Kerr, BJ Armstrong and Craig Hodges could not guard Isiah so Jordan would have to guard him.
It's always room for Isiah Thomas pippen a hater now he saying lebron better than mike even said he was at on point smh pippen kids step daddy is a Jordan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
HERE in CHICAGO - We wouldn't have picked Isaiah either. See, it's SIMPLE. The guy talks too too too much trash and has an extremely "BAD REPUTATION". Name me someone on the Dream Team with even a 50% the reputation like Zeke's, even if we brought up Barkley up in the conversation ?????????? As talented as Isaiah Thomas was at the time and always being a LEGEND and YET still getting knocked off; from nearly EVERY NBA job he had, after his playing career - He's simply a "black eye to the NBA". In 2020 with him visiting Chicago, since this city hosted the All-Star Weekend........HE STILL TALKED TRASH. I'm like, you "really really keep it real, to the streets....don't ya" ????? Majority of Chicago hated him and his antics in 2020 just added on. IMAGINE WHAT FOREIGN FOLKS WOULD'VE SAID, IF HE "DID" GET THE JOB OVER JOHN STOCKTON ???????? (That's that guy)
It was but then like they have done currently, the NBA changed the rules for Jordan because they wanted to market the dunk much the way they're now marketing the 3pt shot so they laxed the rule to give offensive players an edge.
@@lifeallah8005 No no because Dr J got hammered a lot when he joined the NBA. Keep in mind Doc joined the NBA in 1976 and the game was rough and hard fouls were the norm when you went to the paint but as I said the NBA wanted Jordan as the poster boy of the league so they cracked down on rough play so that Jordan could dunk without fear of being hurt. Now the NBA is featuring and marketing the 3pt shot and they changed the rules to make it appealing. Everybody can't shoot like Steph Curry but that doesn't stop guys from jacking up 3s from everywhere.

I've watched them both play. Stockton was a great player don't get me wrong but I would take Thomas over him and John Stockton was one of the best point guards ever. Detroit never swept chicago but the bulls swept the pistons in the playoffs!! After 1991 the Pistons NEVER got out of the first round so of course Jordan never had the chance to beat the shet outta Zeke again once Jordan got to his peak powers!!
IT would torch Stockton, Magic, and Jordan in his prime. Larry Bird was not a guard. His Celtics teams were better than the Pistons until the Pistons matured and the Celts got old. Thomas's Pistons were better than the Bulls until they got old and the Bulls matured. Take a look at the timeline and the league expanded. That meant you could win titles with 3 guys instead of 6. With the expansion, the NBA had to take international players or downgrade to the weak CBA players. The Lakers didnt have the competition that the East had. THE TEAM SHOULD BE BASED ON THE BEST PLAYERS. AT THE TIME ISIAH THOMAS WAS BETTER THAN A LOT OF PLAYERS ON THAT TEAM AND AT THE TIME HAD MORE RINGS THAN EVERYBODY EXCEPT MAGIC AND BIRD. CUT OUT THE ISIAH HATE
He should be based on that plus Isiah had won 2 titles and was an 11 time NBA All Star so based on merit he should have had a spot and they could have made Laettener an alternate. Pippen only made the team because the Bulls had won in '91 and he was riding Jordan's coattails.
The DreamTeam never needed isiah in the line up. They can kick Stockton out easily for him, that is very much true. but the question is... this is a couple of weeks long event. who want to be with isiah for more that an hour? 🤭✌️
Scottie Pippen is one guy who's totally honest about how he feels about IT. And he should feel that way because IT is a phony and they tried to end his career with football style physicality.
Keep in mind that John Stocktons prime and hayday were the years jordan and pippen were in their prime with the bulls. No one thinks that isiah or magics teams could touch the 90s bull's during their run. Why would the jazz not beating Chicago(the team most of us consider to be the Goat team) in the finals be the difference between isiah being better than Stockton?
Pip made a great point though. By 92, Stockton was becoming a fantastic PG and Magic is Magic, so there probably wasn't much room for Thomas. The walkout didn't help that, plus didn't he injure himself at the end of the 91 season?
They say Isaiah Thomas & Pistons got old. They were defeated like Scottie said. Dumars was same age as Scottie. Isaiah was only 32 when he retired. Isaiah acts as if he was far & a way the best player on Pistons. He was saying how he looked around when they named top 50 or 75 ever but he’s more disrespectful to his teammates than Jordan. Jordan always said he couldn’t win without Scottie. Dumars was every bit as good cause he played the best player on other team. He never guarded MJ or Pippen for that matter
The Pistons weren't old in age. They were run down, game-wise. They had been playing deep into the playoffs for five years straight. That's enough to run anybody down. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that even if MJ hadn't retired, those Bulls would've lost a Finals in between their 3 peats (assuming they'd even make it at all).
That's not true! Isiah was a team guy and stayed locked in with the Pistons. Now know this Laimbeer a White guy from an upper middle class home in the suburbs of Chicago whose dad was a company President but he was labeled a "thug" by the press and I'll give you one guess as to why he was. Because he was cool with Dumars, Vinnie Johnson, Isiah, Mahorn, Rodman, Dantley, Mark Aguirre etc all Black dudes. To this day Laimbeer has remained close friends with these dudes. I'd bet that the Celtics, Lakers and Bulls players from that era do not stay connected. I'd bet that they do not. I've heard Byron Scoot say that he hardly ever sees magic or Kareem or Michael Cooper so that tells you right there that these guys weren't close outside of playing together.
Isiah and the Pistons beat LA and the Celtics when LA had Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Coop, and Byron Scott. They then beat Boston with McHale, Parish, Bird and DJ and they beat the Bulls with Scottie and Jordan so Isiah beat all 3 and none of them can say that because because LA lost to Chicago in '91 and Boston was done after 1987/1988.
Were the Pistons a better team? Athletically, no (aside from Rodman). Mentally, from 85-90 I would say yes. MJ himself had said much later that as a rookie his 84-85 team physically were as good as any of his championship teams. Mentally however, they weren't even close. I mean let's face it, Orlando Woolridge should have been the missing link between Wilt Chamberlain and Shaquille O'Neill. Instead I give that one entirely to Hakeem Olajuwon.
Scottie Pippen was a much more thorough/complete player than Isaiah Thomas, any day and throughout both their careers!!! ...and Pip didn't assault anyone or try to hurt them and ruin their career thru injury. Most of Detroit tried to do just that and Isaiah was part of it!
It Seems Like Isiah Thomas Disown Chicago In Every Way. Yea He From The Crib, But It Feels Like He’s From Detroit. Glad Jordan Basically Ended His Career. Couldn’t Beat Up On Jordan No More After He Came Of Age.
That's a total myth and weak excuse that Stephen A uses for why the Pistons got beat by the Bulls at 2:54........the 1991 Pistons weren't old, they were in the middle of their primes. Isiah barely turned 30 at the end of the season, Joe Dumars was 28, Rodman turned 30 that May, Salley was 27......Mark Aguirre was 32, Laimbeer was older at 34............Michael Jordan won 4 of his 6 rings when he was older than Zeke was in 1991.
Funny enough I do not think Pistons or Bulls could have won without this two guys in their roster, I liked to know if anybody fought for Isiah Thomas to be in the dream team??? not saying anything does not mean you wanted him there.

Kind of interesting seeing Pip defending Jordan in these clips when he’s dumping all over him now.

Some players thrive in systems and some thrive with other players so in Scottie's case the focus of the defense was always on Jordan so that freed Scottie up but when he went to Houston and Portland, he was not the same player then he started calling Barkley fat etc etc because he was not the player he thought he was.
1:46 Scottie was NOT in the mood...
😂😂😂😂😂😂
and now Pippen taking shots at Jordan cause he in his feelings about Last Dance
@jimmie parker 🎯🎯🎯🎯
Even when Mj retired a few weeks before the season the core he was with won 55 games and people act like that means nothing.
@jimmie parker Yup without Rodman it’s a wrap
Barkley was better 90,91,92 and 93. Pippen was better than Barkley in 94,95,96,97 and I wil not count 98 due to the injury. Cieling wise Barkley was a tad better but that’s because most of you fools value point and nothing else. As good of a scorer as Barkley was Pippen’s defense was light years over Barkley and Pippens points would be historicly 7-8 ppg less than Barkley in the glory years. Sorry I’ll take Pip because of EVERYTHING Pip does that Barkley can’t.
That was obviousely before Scottie starts bashing MJ in his turn !
I'm thinking same thing.... Scottie always taking up for MJ for years and now he doesn't like Jordan 🤦🏾♂️
OUTSIDE OF MAGIC JOHNSON, ISAIAH THOMAS WAS THE BEST POINT GUARD IN THE NBA
No PG Isiah's size (5'11") could take over a game on both ends of the court the way he did. He scored 25pts in he 3rd vs LA in the '88 Finals playing on one leg because he had sprained his ankle in the first half which Detroit was cheated out of because they had LA beat and LA knows that but they called a ticky tack foul on Laimbeer putting Karren at the FT and LA won/
Bar none and in some ways he was better than Magic and Isiah had a high basketball IQ and not many people give him credit for that.

@@phade2blaq i knew all that & I also know the damn truth of why MJ retired in 1993. MJ was just so very lucky that there was NO social media during the 90s. All hell broke lose during the investigation of MJ's dads murder, what they discovered had to be concealed, & Nike who was MJs major sponsor then, literally spent MILLIONS covering up for MJs vices etc....... The NBA together w/ Nike joined forces to conceal all these (the truth) because the NBA could NOT afford to absorb a scandal that deeply involved MJ (who was the face of the league then). This is why MJ literally owes his life to Nike etc.....

of the big ones from that era, there was a Bird-Magic rivalry and all the rest (Celtics-Lakers and their hall of fame lineups) and there was a Pistons-Bulls. Both were very competitive...but the latter one was toxic and remains toxic. Is that bad? Do we have such emotions and controversy with current rivalries? No. Those 1984-1991 rivalries STILL get coverage and put asses into seats. Thank you Sixers, Celtics, Lakers, Pistons, and Bulls!
That clip from isiah cut to pippen on first take just waiting for his response was a little funny & a little awkward it was quiet as hell in there for a second.
Scottie come on Thomas was a bad dude you can't take this away from this guy
Yeah but they got swept and struggled to beat the bulls in 2 game 7s series to win they took Scottie out of the game by getting in his head and it had work they couldn’t stop mj so they went to the bulls next best player and that was Scottie
I like it when Zeke's voice sounded like Mike Tyson.
I don’t agree Zeke was an American citizen not Ewing 😆😆😆
Stockton has the all time assist .
Thomas has dumars rodman
and stars.
Try watching Stockton highlights.
he also had malone duh
Poor argument Luis, Malone was the star on that team and much better then those u mentioned. U clearly know nothing abt basketball if u think those folks were better then Malone
MJ said that Isaiah is the 2nd best behind Magic. Not showing respect to MJ and the Bulls by not shaking hands kept him off the Dream Team. isaiah chose NOT to shake hands, MJ chose NOT to have isaiah on the team. Petty or not they both made choices. Only isaiah is suffering from the choice. As he said, Dream Team is the only thing missing from his resume'
Isiah
And the Celtics didn't shake the Pistons hands the year before but they don't talk about that so Bird shouldn't have played either
@Vern Lloyd MJ was dealing with his circumstance with Thomas. isaiah didn't shake MJ & Bulls hands. Dumars shook his hand and said it was only right because after every loss MJ shook their hands
@@vernlloyd772 the Celtics had to leave the floor to different situations teams and rivalries. The Pistons purposely walked past the Bulls bench with time left. That sticks in people's head
@@vernlloyd772 you’re misinformed. The Celtics situation was over security concerns -look it up.
Pippen is a 2face too ...He lately turned against Michael himself ...🤣🤣🤣
Lets see how the pistons do in this era, the starting line up be fouled out in the first quarter:P
They’d make these vagina players cry
Bulls 6 Championships Pistons 2
IT would've been vinegar in a bowl of candy for the Dream Team.
years later pippen says bron is the goat.
For people who don't know, when Jordan first came to Chicago Isiah reached out to him to help settle in and get familiar with Chicago. Isiah's family looked out for Jordan and Isiah's sister and Jordan's brother at that time were friends and hung out whenever Jordan's brother came to Chicago.
Now here's the kicker, Isiah's nephew use to live with Jordan during the summer because Jordan was his favorite player and the Bulls were his favorite team so I have no idea when the bad blood started between Jordan and Isiah.
A jersey is the start of all this 😂
@@deangelojackson6952 That's part of it but I also think Jordan was salty because his Bulls teams could never get past Isiah's Pistons because in the mid to late 1980s, Jorda lost a lot.
@@phade2blaq they lost to the pistons 3 time until 1990 when the bulss swept them and the pistons walked off the court with no handshake
@@geoffreytasker2097 I am well aware and remember by that time Isiah had hurt his wrist and when he would sub out, Isiah had to put ice on his wrist but I think if he were healthy, the Bulls don't win '91.
@@geoffreytasker2097 One other thing that fake freeze out in the All Star game that Jordan has lied about for over 35 years ain't true.
Go back and check the videos of those games and Isiah passes the ball to Jordan 7,8 9 times and remember Isiah also had Moses, Dr J, Bird etc so he had to spread the ball around to people other than Jordan.
Pippen made excuses for why his Bulls team lost 4 out of 5 times to Isaiah's Pistons by saying they were young and physically immature but wasn't trying to acknowledge the fact that the Pistons were old and missing some of the players they had when Chicago finally did win.
Isiah can lay claim to something that no one else of that era can say, the Pistons beat Boston with Bird. Mchale and Parish, they beat LA with Magic, Worthy, Kareem, M Cooper and Byron Scott and they beat the Bulls with Scottie and Jordan so none of the guys from those teams can say that but Isiah can.
@@phade2blaq they got robbed of a title in 88 from a blatant BS call and if Isaiah didn't blow it in 87 with that careless pass that Bird picked off and converted with a hot assist (🔥) Detroit could've possibly won that year also.
President Bush broke up the Bad Boys by declaring it in a speech followed by the expansion draft, that resulted in them losing Rick Mahorne.
Pippen said what he said but at least Jordan gave the Pistons credit for getting them over that hump of "physical immaturity" and giving them what they needed to win those 6 ring's, that's coming from MJ's mouth so Pippen is really being a petty hater with zero respect as usual.
Dissed Dennis Rodman when he joined the Bull's by saying he still doesn't like him when asked by a reporter, he been like that, never keeps his feelings to himself and holds petty grudges.
But at the end of the day, who has the most championship rings?? Between the player's and the organization's.
But what them player's can say to end the topic of discussion is, who has the most rings when the wins was most important of all, the finals, the rings!!
,
We heard Isiah say I DONT MIND IF M.J said he didn't want me on the team , NOW he's still accusing M.J of keeping him off the team ????? Make your mind up , you said you'd be good hearing that MJ didn't want you !!!!!
This explains why the only time pippen chooses Jordan over LeBron, is because Isiah chose LeBron. Pippen has changed his mind too much and out of spite chose Jordan. Those guys hated Isiah for doing what they did, and beating them.
Pippen can't hold Zeke's jockstrap. Zeke is an ALLTIME legend. Funny how people forget.
Speaking of being snubbed. Shaq should’ve been on that Dream Team instead of Christian Laettner.
You can't deny facts!!
The DreamTeam never needed isiah in the line up. They can kick Stockton out easily for him, that is very much true. but the question is... this is a couple of weeks long event. who want to be with isiah for more that an hour? 🤭✌️
I do. He won
Scottie Pippen is one guy who's totally honest about how he feels about IT. And he should feel that way because IT is a phony and they tried to end his career with football style physicality.
if Isaiah says scottie is nobody then what makes him think scottie voice played a role in keeping him out..I would look at urself for nor being chosen
At least Zeke's not wearing a weird, out of generation hairstyle.
Some people still wear out of generation hairstyles. What’s your point?
@@mauricemoton1069 Maybe they shouldn't.
@@ProfessorofTruth Maybe they should. 👍✌️
Isiah Thomas had career-ending wrist surgery that he had a 1991... Because you and I know that he used to shoot the peel off the ball
Isaiah was far and away the best player on the pistons. He was certainly better than Stockton. Pippin didn't belong on that team.
Isiah could take the team on his back and drop 25 points in the 4th quarter and win the game!
Isaiah used to drop the MJ off 😆😆😆 he taught mike how to pick his spots
They won without him. That's the point.
The dream team didn't ban Ishsa Thomas Thomas banned himself. He had no friends
They were beating you guys, Scottie > We were young 💀💀💀💀
Isiah and the Pistons beat LA and the Celtics when LA had Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Coop, and Byron Scott. They then beat Boston with McHale, Parish, Bird and DJ and they beat the Bulls with Scottie and Jordan so Isiah beat all 3 and none of them can say that because because LA lost to Chicago in '91 and Boston was done after 1987/1988.
@@phade2blaq the Pistons beat the Lakers with Magic missing half the series.
Zeke shudda been on that Tim over Chris Mullins, furthermore Shaq shudda been there over Christian Laetner! I’ll drop my own mic
Pistons fans always saying that Isiah was old when the Pistons got swept by the Bulls in ‘91. So wouldn’t he be even older in ‘92?
Hey Scottie, we’re the Lakers old when you beat them?
Mullins and Laettner didn’t deserve to be on that team. Isaiah and Shaq did
I disagree w Mullins , I think he deserved to be on that team. He may not have deserved it over Isaiah though.
Pippen has done a total 180.
listen to isiah on the "pivot" podcast. maybe you might understand the pettiness of some of these players.
That BS next to Magic is Zeke who else MJ said l don't want to play with him and it was over period
After Jordan's son hooked up with pippens ex and scottie had a book.. he became isaiah.
Funny enough I do not think Pistons or Bulls could have won without this two guys in their roster, I liked to know if anybody fought for Isiah Thomas to be in the dream team??? not saying anything does not mean you wanted him there.
0:16 reggie miller "BUT..?"
Isiah was way better than John Stockton. Please no comparison.
Even Grant Hill used to destroy Scottie.
Zeke was better than Stockton......He shouldve been on the Dream Team.
Ngl, I feel bad for Isaiah Thomas.
Prime Bulls V Prime Pistons 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bulls be sweeping them bums
