It matters not whether Williams Jnr. ever becomes a pro snooker player - this is just quality time between a dad and his son. That's precious. I used to spend hours playing darts with my dad in the hallway of our old house, every Sunday evening we'd be out there. That's how you build a lasting bond.
I used to play pool with my dad when I was your son's age. He never let me win, or give me chances. He told me when I beat him I would have genuinely beat him. When I did, it was the best feeling ever. It's the other way around now. 😂. This is great to see though 👍🏻
Same. I played my dad at snooker all my life til I was 38 when he died suddenly. I never won one frame. I think my highest break was 21! He never gave me even a hint of assistance, only buckets of encouragement and I’m sure he’d have loved to see me win. I defeated him at chess though.
Loved watching this. Can go one of two ways. Lad becomes an absolute beast, or he gives up on snooker lol. Can see the joy of watching his Dad do things like this, must feel like his Dad is a Superhero.
Fantastic composure, tempo and temperament in a busy club with hustle and bustle. Funny moments after the split where you could get through to the potting angle between the two reds lol and your son keeping a close eye on you bridging over the red. Class 👍
I’ve heard that snooker players require a lot of personal space and then there’s Mark break building with his son next to his ear throughout every shot🤣. Lovely clip
There's levels in this game, as you can see the other table still has most of its balls, with twice as many shots. Yet Mr Williams 36 shots good bye balls.
You have another WC in you and a few other ranking wins Mark, Never seen you play as good as the last tournament you won against Ronnie and I have been watching you from the first match you had at the crucible all those years ago.
Great to see guys 👍 no sound though , love to hear the boy criticising Marks shots for the banter lol , as i imagine hes similar to his dad and be good to see more of the lads ability , but thats snooker you can be the greatest but if your not at the table its irelivent , defo good life skills aswell as improving snooker temperament
brilliant, show him how easy it is to pot all the balls, like a stroll in the park - best way to learn. He'll be some player the boy if he's really into it

Mark is fantastic, great dad, great husband, in the clip you can tell how much he loves his son, the kid has a good stroke, lefty, cant wait to see him in 10 years.
@@itsonlyyoutube-d5m like we said, Mark is a good dad, the lad was interested in all of his dads shots, but deep down he was hoping he'd miss, never happened, he was good with it, lovely to see the love between dad and son, world take note thats the way you take care of your family, with real love, cheers.
What a great clearance. Mark is an excellent player and indeed a good father as well. Wish you joy and many more professional snooker years! A fan of yours, cheers!
May not look like he's learning, but that's invaluable training standing by your world champion father as he runs through a demonstration. Btw, i was wondering how he was gonna spot that blue. Hilarious to see him using his cue😂😂 Great stuff here!!
Fair play to the lad. My boy would have made me put the colours back. Thankfully for him though, after a 40 year on/off love affair with snooker, I'm still rubbish. 😂
Hope he gave his dad a chance🤣🤣 I’ve met Mark, I joked with him about signing on for my pool team if he wasn’t busy but, as well as being a world class snooker player he’s a great bloke had time for a chat and he clearly has a lovely family 😎❤️
@@MarkWilliamsSnooker147 Hello Mark, I am writing to you from Quebec, Canada. I admire the love of a father for his son, but also the admiration of a son for his very loving father. I would really be very glad if you could post other videos of him on a regular basis for us to appreciate his growth. That would probably build a bound between snooker fans and your lovely boy. As he grows and gets more experience, we could see the result of the investment of a loving father in his son. Thank you for sharing this unique moment.
I had to watch it again and counted the brake. It's 138 and hope my calculation is correct. It's amazing how you make this very difficult game looks so easy. God bless you and your son.
My dad would never let me win anything, I was a bad loser , he told me if I got angry ,the best way to solve this was not to lose...no matter how much I cracked up , he still wouldn't let me win...good life lesson
Mark j Williams. Will turn his son into a great player. He could definitely get on the pro circuit , no doubt one day go to the crucible. Look at his protégé. JACKSON PAGE.

great play and exelent example of how that little yung man can handle the pressure and loss ...cheers !!!!!
Absolutely
Love the tap on the table at .45 seconds
all he did
That title gives the impression his son actually played in the game.
Bit harsh I know
I cant belive he played a safety on his son!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 hahaha
Right smack bang on the cushion too 😭😭😂😂
Gotta teach him properly 😂😂😂
Thats great, Mark and his boy both play for keeps. cheers
he didn't pay for the light mind you
Love to see it, skills of patience and feeling defeated by a better player, kids need this lesson more.

onyl way haha
If I was a member of this gaff, there wouldn't be much playing, I'd just be gawping at Mark playing all the time lol.
I was thinking the same 😉
come and check it out one day
cool vid boy was really there to put the balls back on the spots
and he did a great job
Is that how he practices ? Lets his boy break as if he is part of the game and then uses him as a the ball guy. 😂😂
Not always 😂
A great break off shot from the young man
wasn't bad
This is the temperament of Mark Williams. You could hire a marching band going across his eyeline, and he would still pot the balls!
don't know about that
That is what I call a tough school!
not that bad
Go easy on him Mark 🤣🤣
Obviously 😂
He's taking no prisoners 😉
Mark: See that'll teach ya my boy - you hit your safety too thick !!!!
he will learn
My son misses and sees me miss the next red. No danger of a clearance!

Not the easiest
9'01" - is junior respotting the blue with his cue, because he can't reach? Bless him.
Yeah I mean it's unacceptable from him 😂😂😂
Would have been nice to see the little guy playing...
keep an eye, a video of him is coming soon

What was the break?
We didn't count 😂 but someone in the comments said a 130 something? will try find it now...

good break off though

gave him a shot too!
