I agree, the content is great, especially when you kinda know what he is talking about, but it could be useful to have an instrument, for those who can't understand without 'seeing' what you're talking about. Maybe you can try to avoid using this board, or cut out the times you were writing on this board. This same applies for children at school, they can lose the concentration by just waiting for the teacher to be done writing, it helps a lot when you have something ready. I'm saying this because i can feel you have something useful and interesting.
👍👍👍Best explanation, out of about eight sources I looked at😏 ..."a Great teacher makes a complex subject, understandable to Anyone" .. your doing that my friend keep up THAT work😄 !!
Love the videos man, they are definitely the most helpful guitar theory videos I have watched on UA-cam. I was just wondering, when constructing chords can the notes be in absolutely any order?
They can indeed and the same note can be used multiple times over different octaves to give many different sounds to the same chord! Although it's worth noting that the name of the chord changes a little if a note other than the root is in the bass! :)
Yes, 7th chords can be playing on almost anything (Perhaps not the drums) but definitely piano, which lends itself nicely the the visualisation of a the chord as well so you're all okay! 😀
Really enjoyed your lessons but reference to just teaching males only isn't appreciated music is a male dominated industry which really doesn't seem right.
Hi Diana! I’m not sure what reference that was, and I’m sorry if it came across that way. All gender, age, race and culture welcome in the beautiful world of music theory!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🎸
Great lesson!
Also, black boards are so much more pleasing than white ones :)
Without a doubt! Thanks for watching! 🙏🙏😊
Your really great. Great content, amazing quality and very professional attitude. I have no idea why your channel isn't getting enough recognition
Us neither!! Haha! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yo... great lesson master.have a great life
What type of seven chord would be formed if you had a minor triad with a major seven?
That chord is called a Minor major7. It's a very cool, James Bond sounding chord and the 1st chord of the melodic minor! :D
@@yga Thanks for the information
Thanks
Good Teacher. 👍
Thanks you soooo much!
thank you that was awesome
If you only play the 1, 3 & b7, is it still considered a dominant 7 chord?
Yes! :)
Those dotted lines were my aha moment!
sweet man, now all you need is a bunsen burner and you're all set..jokes great lesson
Hi sir I want to know that why C7 is dominant and C6 is not?
lovvvee theee vidddeeeo
Why don't you use regular C, F, G instead of C#, F#, G# on that scale?
Because he is working in the A Major Scale. The A Major Scale has the notes A, B, C#, D, E, F#, G#
Why c,f,g7,why not g major?
I'm learning piano. Would this theory still be relevant?! I'm thinking surely. Just saw you're called guitar academy not piano!

I am sooooooo druuuuunk - drank shot every time he said OK.
