Please try Mei Kuei Lu Chiew, the red one with fermentation of wheat and rose leaves. I've fallen in love with this one, makes other jiu taste like shit.

Not necessarily. Lots of people do glass shots in China during banquets. They do like 3 shots on an empty stomache at the beginning of the feast and shots throughout the banquet as they toast every single individual at the table (sometimes in the entire banquet hall in like a wedding event). I'm talking about GLASS shots.
