I stayed home with my kids. It was a choice we made together. In 34 years of marriage I have never asked for money. I spend what I want. No questions asked. Not fond of the stigma of being a stay at home mum. I wouldn’t change a minute. There’s nothing wrong with being a full time mum.
What happens if something like a divorce happens? Is there some sort of support full time mom's can get? Especially when the children become adults?
Totally with Melissa...also Cynthia...when it comes through asking for money I would feel like a kid ...since 17 yrs old I have never had to ask a man for money just the thought of it alone...depresses me...makes me feel WORTHLESS! I was raised by militant style personally single father back in the 60s and 70s...always taught us to NEVER take things from people...especially money! Didn't realize Jess was the breadwinner in her household...however...it makes sense...that black host like the two previous ones always adverting their SINGLENESS on national tv
Communication is key and if the arrangement they both agreed on is no longer working, then sharing feelings and thoughts with each other is the only way things will get better.
Either they need to renegotiate the terms of this arrangement or her feelings for him/having children may have changed.
