That is definitely on my bucket list Roger.... thanks mate😊Richard Turnbull in Newcastle upon Tyne
Definitely worth the climb, Richard! 🏯
Great video mate, what a picturesque setting! Wonderful location!
Couldn’t believe how windy it was at the top. Made my eyes water! 🥲
The Stirling train station is an architectural delight on its own, actually. Poke!
The station is great both inside and out. I had a good look round on the way back and loved the metal work around the canopy. Should have taken some footage, I guess. 🚊
I haven't been up the Wallace monument in a long time. Stirling is a good day out as there is so much to do. I recommend the The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum. There are also good walks by the river and it's worth going to the ruins of Cambuskenneth Abbey.
Thanks very much. I didn’t have long so could only fit in a trip to the Wallace Monument. Will be back when the days are longer for a look around the other sights! 😀
wow!! another sterling (see what I did there lol) video
I don't think I could even attempt some of those stairs without a handrail of some sort 😂
It’s weird because you have to hold the central spine around which the stairs spiral. 🤔
Yes, it's been about 30 years since I visited the Wallace Monument, and your vlog brought back all the memories! I remember that view once you got to the top! Another great day as well! You thoroughly deserved that coffee/bacon roll. Thanks for highlighting all the magnificent scenery. Nice one Roger! 😊 👍
Thanks Alan! Definitely worth the climb to be rewarded with those views. 🏯
Hey Alan - did I remember rightly that you live in Alnmouth? I’m popping in today for a quick walkabout and video. If you’re around I’d love to buy you a coffee!
@RogEdwardsTV
Hi Roger, enjoy Alnmouth. I actually live in Alnwick, nearby. If passing through Alnwick today or in future, coffee would be great.
Train and foot today so won’t have time to get up to Alnwick. Coffee another time, perhaps! 😀
@RogEdwardsTV
No probs. Catch up another time. Have good day in Alnmouth. 😃
You’ve been a bit harsh on the Edi-Stirling train. Plenty nice scenery.
Definitely good views of the Forth. And I did spot The Kelpies! 😀
where your youtube video at 12pm today rog edwards tv?
All will be revealed at noon! 😉
