Hot Milk in Anaheim, 6/29/24

I saw Hot Milk at the Parish at House of Blues Anaheim! They had one headliner ahead of opening for blink-182, at a show I saw the next night in San Diego.
The show started with the opening tracks to Hot Milk's debut album, A Call to the Void. It was clear from the start that only one microphone was working, which would be a problem as Han and Jim share vocals. Throughout the show Han sang most of the vocals, it was interesting to see her sing Jim's parts.
During Bloodstream, Han fell off the stage! I'm writing this a few days later and she seems to be fine, plus had the energy to open for blink the next night.
I was happy to see that Wide Awake remains on the setlist, despite many of their older songs being cut. Han looked me in the eyes as we sang which was my favorite part of the show. She stood up on the barricade and also went into the crowd for a bit.
Due to technical difficulties, the had to cut Breathing Underwater and Candy Coated Lie$. Split Personality was traditionally their closer, and still gets played near the end of the set, but that spot has been taken by Glass Spiders!
