Just watched both videos and it is refreshing to know that my slightly not perfect chisel honing angles are acceptable - here I was worrying they wouldn't do the job so well if they weren't perfectly square at both ends. Cheers for clearing some things up, and keep up the good work :)
Totally! As long as it's between 30 to 35 degrees, you raise a burr and properly remove it then it's fine. Wide chisels are easy to keep looking smart. I've found it tricky getting used to a high speed bench grinder after using a Tormek at work. Sometimes my grind doesn't look factory but it's perfectly acceptable. Thanks for the encouragement 😊
