- Muttrah Fort is a historic fort in wilayat Muttrah in Muscat. The fort sits on a dominating position over the hills overlooking the natural harbor of Muttrah, which would have made it quite an impregnable position to defend Muttrah from attacks while also allowing observation of the surrounding territory from its watchtowers.

Hello my friend GroundBreaker Explore, never been to Oman, this is a great video. Enjoyed a lot this walk and visit with you. This fort looks awesome and keeps standing strong. The construction is great and had some repairs for what i can see, but is lovely. The watchtowers are massive and the view over the port is fantastic. It's amazing how long ago, each stone was piled up to build such a wonderful castle.
