- Many characters in Mortal Kombat don't really care about anything but the money. Some of the few examples are Kano and Kabal, both of whom belong to the Black Dragon; a clan that's known for being loyal to anybody that offers them the right price for their dodgy services.

Yeah really. Plus Kano is by far the most OP character in the original MK game. The first time I played as him, I won the whole game without any of them being best 2 of 3, I just smoked everyone in every round, most of them double flawlesses, while every other character it took me a long time to win with and see the endings of.
These all had either Kano, Kabal, Erron, Kollector or Johnny.

When you think about it, Erron and all the other characters who only made minor tweaks to the timeline were the smartest. Kronika's downfall was that her plans were too grand and ambitious for what time would allow. For every change she made in her favor, it would create another change against her.
