Radar operator: "Hey, Dmitri, why is there a bird sized object flying at mach 2 at 30000 feet?"
Radar operator 2: "Nah, forget about it, that's just a bird"
lols
During taxi the F-35s would have on their displays all the data from AWACS, U.S. satellites, and any other electronic warfare/reconnaissance aircraft in the area. That is, the position of every Russian aircraft that's airborne, the position and status of every Russian SAM in theater, and more likely than not the position of most of the Russian armor in the area. The F-22s would not have this complete of an air picture until they were crossing into the operations box.
F-22 Raptors are just now starting their upgrade program so it will be a while before the F-22 gets more advanced tracking and targeting data, including an entirely new suite of passive long-range detection capability without using radar.
and ECM, spherical EO/IR, long range forward IR, and having a display telling at what range enemy radars could detect it. F-35 is the total package when it comes to sensors. Makes the F/A-18C look like an F-5E
@@USSGobLin they certainly will! But it's still inherently a 90s platform, so without a total scrap & replacement of on board electronics, it's gonna be hard to get close.
They probably could rip them all out and only keep the FCS and such, replacing them with the f-35 equipment, but now we're in the "billions of dollars of development" range. The f-22 system software is all written in excellent battle tested ADA... going through and re-verifying that whatever is left successfully integrated with a whole new suite would be a massive engineering effort.
Not gonna lie, even though it breaks my heart, at this point I absolutely understand the focus on NGAD. We blew it years ago when we gave up on the F-22 production...
Man F35s are so OP
Still fat Amy won't be able to do much with such SA than avoid confrontation 🤣
I had never heard of this game before i saw your channel a few weeks ago. Now this is my favorite channel. Thanks guys!
Typical NATO gaming strategy
Thanks for watching. hope you enjoy some of our other content aswell cheers
Welcome Sir!
I was introduced to DCS when I saw the game on steam. But I mostly watch Growling Sidewinders for proper dogfighting stuff and Grimreapers are just for fun scenarios.
The scenery of the in flight refuel with the other birds closeby was HEAT!!!
I suppose the question is, "How Stealthy?" The other question is, "Is there any jamming support? Without jamming, detection range reduction is proportional to the 4th root of the radar cross section. With jamming, detection is proportional to the square root of the radar cross section. Say your RCS is 1/10^4 or 0.0001 meter squared and the range of your enemy radar is calculated for a 1 meter square (spherical) target. You cut detection range without jamming by 10, so the radar range goes from 100 km to 10 km. Add jamming and you cut the detection range by 100, so the radar range goes from 100 km to 1 km.
cross section also differs based on teh direction the radar beam/wave is hittting teh aircraft.
Imagine thinking the F-117 has a lower RCS then the B-2 or F-35…..
4:00 "Its just flat land without proper terrain." So basically Eastern Ukraine.
Loved this video!! I always love the WWII stuff, especially the battleships, and the F-22. Modern stealthy airstrikes like this are the best for me. Thanks for an awesome video, Cap!
The only radar you were not able to avoid was O.C.U.L.A.R.
WWWIII started the next day after a N.Y. Times reporter, more interested in being first to get the story than avoiding mutual assured destruction, published video of low flying F-35s over Eastern Ukraine.
I kid I kid. That was fun.
I refuse to call the F-35 fat Amy. It’s the battle penguin. 😂
fair name lol
Love the content as always, thank you.
1. When this is re-run, perhaps just run a combined flight of F-22 and F-35 jets rather than adding any confusion as to where the groups are supposed to be versus where they actually are.
2. Perhaps have some human pilots in the Su-35s to make it more realistic of a challenge? However, I assume there's a high potential for the jets not being coded correctly within the sim as far as detection, jamming, locking on, and various other critical aspects.
3. No doubt, we've seen some huge blunders from RU (their Black Sea navy is experiencing losses almost every day against a country with no navy - where are the AA defense of any kind? Both land and sea AA installations are shown with radar activated shortly before going boom-boom). Nonetheless, I would find it hard to believe they don't have some QRF Mig-29's (or Su-27/30's) flying CAP near the eastern UA/Russian border and northeastern UA/Russian border, at pretty low altitude to avoid UA SAM systems as they're more likely to be active with less UA jets in the airspace. If I had to guess, both of those two regions has a two-ship flight of Mig-29's on rotation for 24/7 coverage, as they don't need long range, they can afford to lose Mig-29's in a worst case scenario, and UA has nothing that we know of which can out duel Mig-29's in their inventory. These would respond to the bombers going down immediately, with the Su-35's coming in from a rear RU base as you have planned.
4. I agree the AI can't be set to ace level unfortunately. They're likely to go full terminator and ignore the need for their own radar to detect you. A level in between ace and the 75% level would be great. Adding in a bit more realistic human reactions (would these bombers watch their flight be taken out one by one and just fly straight until they're hit?) and I assume they'd attempt to fire Fox-2's at you upon visual contact? But, at the same time, if I know anything from watching these AI battles on "Ace" level, the bombers may fire out of range, get locks, and literally go full BFM on each of you after dropping their ordinance for more maneuverability. All guesses though, as I have never done any testing like that.
Concerning AWACs coverage and other NATO flight activity, I've put together a profile for your benefit going into the future. The Global Hawk activity is the most aggressive/surprising to me.
This list obviously isn't comprehensive, just what the militaries want the public to see.
- RQ-4B Global Hawk drones out of a southern Italian (Sicily) airbase have been making circuits in the western Black Sea and are usually on rotation for 24/7 availability. Interestingly, due to their stealth characteristics I suppose, they have also been making circuits directly in the warzone, approximately in the middle between the cities of Dinipro and Donetsk itself. Altitudes reported at 54,000 feet.
- UK Royal Air Force RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft are flying on the NATO side of the western borders of both Ukraine and Belarus out of RAF Waddington.
- NATO/US E-3A Sentrys' have been making flights on western borders coming out of Germany.
- I unfortunately do not recall the specifical model aircraft, and Google isn't helping obviously. But, the other day in eastern Romania, a USAF jet was flying in circuit and it was a Gulfstream G500-series conformal AWACs/electronic warfare jet. It looks nearly identical to the proposed EC-37B Compass, but apparently that hasn't entered service yet. Not sure what it was, but the file picture from the flight tracking definitely showed conformal military-grade systems designed into the body.
- UK Royal Air Force KC2 Voyager tankers have been doing circuits at 31,000 ft in eastern Romania taking off from southern Cyprus.
- USAF KC-135 and KC-10A tankers have been covering all kinds of air space in eastern Europe over NATO countries from various bases.
- C17A Globemaster III's have been flying in a lot, which would most likely be carrying the donated US/NATO weaponry into Poland, often taking routes from Hungary and north over Scandinavia.
Considering how little flight time the Russian pilots get I dare say even 50% difficulty is too high.
dude, you just wrote a novel in the comment section
@@boyteebah3794 Just trying to help. I could reduce it down to 25%, but then most people won't understand fully.
You know what funny those global hawks aren't coming from Italy. The military just isn't going to broadcast where they are housed at
Cool Video! You guys make flying formation look awesome and easy. Tanking for the refuel was impressive and then rolling in and taking down those bombers. Reapers Rule!
I'm always intrigued when a military type reviews a DCS module or discusses BFM and all that. It's always very nuanced and seemingly polite without revealing how good US forces really are. Maybe I'm just misreading the room, but I think as good as DCS is, it's still not even close.
You're correct. And although it's quite good in a number of ways, based on the little time I've 'played' with it, it doesn't provide the physiological factors one experiences in real acft, a number of which are modeled in the simulation. That's not to say it's of no use. Quite the contrary. One can learn and subsequently come to a good understanding of basic fighter maneuvers and how to employ them to their advantage. And in a fundamental sense it's really quite good in that regard. The same is true for learning/practicing emergency procedures in a given acft. True story: I had a crew chief say to me during an incentive ride: "This is almost as good as DCS". We both laughed, although it wasn't too far removed from the truth. ;)
Of course, certain things can be simulated or at least a close approximation but at the end of the day its a game. Also the way people play is very civilian, there is little to no mission command and no realistic Tactics, Techniques or Procedures employed. A friend of my sons once said to me while we were all playing BF "I thought you would play differently", I said if every time they died they had to throw their PC out the window, would they play differently, obviously they would, cos there no respawns in real life.
how good US forces are at protecting transgender rights
So much information on these fighters is classified that we will never have a true simulator representation available to civilians. It’s just guestamations. The US black budget for the military is even higher than the normal budget. Try and fathom this for a min.
Enjoying the bro cams perspective! When Simba cam [Question Mark]
I said they should do this in the last video comments. This is awesome! Thanks for doing this GR!!!
Thanks Reapers. Was waiting for this one!
Damn, this is one of your best videos yet. So intense, could be a movie
It’s interesting comparing how DCS models combat as compared to Command Modern Operations. CMO keeps F-35 at high altitude, uses cooperative engagement to share situational awareness and weapons direction, and the AI lobs AMRAAMS down from on high. No merging or ACM. In fact ACM is a major weakness for the 5th gen fighters as at that range IRST systems can track and lock on them. Sniping with missiles from BVR is the optimal path, in CMO at least. This may be a factor of CMO’s longer sensor and weapon ranges - you can routinely take AMRAAM shots at 50nm with success, and the radars on F-35’s reach very far out in the battle space.
I think the F-35 and F-22 mods are community built...
@@Andreas-gh6is The bias (just from youtube videos) is for air combat maneuvers and dogfighting. I don't think any of that would happen in a modern scenario.
@@cknewcomb Yeah exactly, it looks like to me all of the ranges in DCS are compacted, which includes tracking/sensors to match.
And now they are called the Grimm Raptors xD
Good video Cap!
F-22 is everyone's favorite!
If this is a secrete mission then I think technically it was compromised the moment you started firing missiles.
Not sure if the stealth fighters can get a lock with an AMRAAM without their onboard radar, but in any case the Russian planes and EW platforms would recognize that they are being pinged by American radars. Historically it has been harder for the US to claim "It wasn't us!"
@@Andreas-gh6is F35s we’re designed to be able to track and fire on enemy targets without the use of their own radar, using other aircraft or radars sites. So in the end somebody still has to have them on radar which the opposing nation would be able to recognise. So you’re completely right, but I was just explaining that ability since you said you didn’t know.
Cool the mods work after 2.7..and Fun looking teamwork !
I'm thinking the secret part is blown when the enemy pilot is parachuting right next to you.
Rather doubt that a parachuting Russian pilot *in the dark* will get a definitive look at an aircraft streaking past... He will likely have a lot of other issues on his mind. (Do Russian pilots actually *practice* parachute landings?)
America would still probably keep plausible deniability.
@@simplelogic933 That an F-22 that shot you down flew a couple of hundred meters from you as you drifted to earth?
more like, the secret part would be blown by the little bits of US missiles littering the landscape. Missiles don't exactly disintegrate when they blow up
@@ilikehardplay The nukes will land in pentagon before the pilot lands.
Great tanker footage
A better saying than "Discretion is the best part of valor" would be "Maintain a plausible level of deniability"
It was the frog. It went up the ladder, so the weather became nice enough.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Cap and the rest of the Grim reapers, relatively new subscriber here. I am a huge fan of the videos and appreciate all the effort you put into them. They are sure to jog the imagination and are always entertaining. I have 2 potential video ideas that could be an interesting watch.
The first being a recreation of the US and British cruise missile strikes on Syrian chemical weapon facilities a couple years ago. The claim is 105 missiles were fired at multiple CW facilities and their supporting infrastructure. The majority of the missiles were tomahawks with some JASSMs and British storm shadows in the mix, (I understand these may not be in the game). Regardless, the US claims ALL missiles hit their targets and none were intercepted. They back their claims up with satellite images of the targets. The Russians claim, that 103 were launched and 71 were successfully intercepted. I am unaware of the Syrian sam strength apart from some soviet pieces in their arsenal. It would be interesting to see who is more accurate. Obviously combat effectiveness and Syrian air defense strategy and overall competence come into question.
The second is whether a 80s refitted Iowa class battleship would make the difference in a modern carrier battle group vs the Russians battle group. The Russians were able to overpower the Americans especially in close range naval artillery. I wondered a few things; if the 16 harpoons, tomahawks and 4 CIWS could make the difference in the long range, if the AEGIS network would be able to cover the Iowa, and if the 16'" guns could swing the battle for the Americans when in range (assuming the ship makes it that far).
I appreciate the efforts, and can't wait for the next videos!
Roger Brian, point 2 I am already working on.
I think it has something to do with proportions, but I think the F35 is a more beautiful plane. Not talking about performance or capabilities, just the looks.
So, you dig "Fat Amy"? 👌😂
Well buddy, like any good racecar driver will tell you, curves are fun and straights are boring.
Fat Amy is a great looking aircraft and one of the best in the world, people forget the F35 doesn't have it's advanced avionics in DCS. Not saying it holds a candle to the F22 in air to air but it's negative repuation based on its performance in the game is a little unfair in my opinion
Thicc Amy can get it
@@shmevan_ The problem with an accurate F-35 is the everyone will start crying "F-35 OP PLZ NERF!!!!"...😭. At least in BVR.
You guys just kicked the door in punched the big guy and then ran. Awesome job fellas 👏
As long as there is no US fighter jet aircraft in Ukraine - even F-16s - OFFICIALLY, the US will not use any of its planes in Ukrainian airspace. Imagine that some Russian soldier finds the remains of JDAM / JASM or AiM-9 / AiM-120 on the ground ...
If Ukraine gets / buy the mentioned F-16s and starts using them, only then will it be possible to use all F-22/35 / B-2s, minimizing the risk of their presence being detected.
just admit publicly that we are sending these to them. we admit everything else other than aircraft.
USAF wants to retire early-block F-22s. What we should do is bring some Ukrainian pilots to US, give them an accelerated school on Raptor, & send them over.
Nato announces they have developed software and adapter kits for their missiles to be used in Ukraine aircraft and are starting to supply them. Takes a photo of a few Mig's with said missiles hanging on their wings. Photo quality is not good enough to see they are held on by zip ties. Problem solved.
@@timallison8560 Please note that this is unconfirmed information - a group of Ukrainian pilots is trained on the F-16. Several nations have indicated that they are ready to hand over the F-16s of the earlier AM / BM versions. When? Who? I do not know.
@@alanholck7995 Nobody will get the F-22. They will either end up in the Tucson graveyard or be cut into razor blades.
I love your videos! They make me want to by a gaming computer just to play!
I do love the love the f35, but my favorite design of fighter aircraft is the F-15
Same my friend
compared to migs and vipers the lack of airborne CAP makes it a fair test but would have loves to have seen the stealth's challenged.
Great video mate, what game is it and what PC are you using to play please? This is absolutely brilliant to watch, it really is....
Battle Penguin looks stubby when parked next to a Raptor.
Battle Penguin! Nice
My favorite channel, thank you all ! Would be more interesting if you show start and end clips of refueling then delete mid part for our viewing. Only boring part. I usually fast forward unless grump is getting sandwiched lol. I love your main crew pilots. Wich are current military vs really good video gamers? Hi violent :)
Which models are you guys using for the 22 and 35s are they in your previous videos?
F-35 B or C model is my favorite 5th gen and 4th+ gen is the FA-18 Foxtrot model. And if I would select a long range strategic bomber I would choose the B-1.
Out here on Big Is. Hawaii, at the fields > Hilo, the Raptors will punch straight up after lift off, to get out of the nearby Volcano’s severe electromagnetic hash.
It’s awesomeness.
Final Grim Reaper Offensive Fighter Sweep tally: 14 Russian Aircraft destroyed. 0 Grim Reapers lost. 7 NATO air bases and ajoining towns attacked with nuclear weapons... Military Aircraft destroyed on the ground 56. Military Ground Personnel killed estimated at 7500. Civilian casualties estimated at 130,000.
It'd be cool if you incorporated F-117's, B-2's, and YF-12's in these Stealth scenarios as well👍👍
It's hypothetical might as well have some extra fun with it ;)
The F-117's are retired due to the lack of capabilities.
@@pogo1140 lol so are YF-12's again just for fun, btw F-117's are still flying
@@Anarchy_420 as Red Air,
@@pogo1140 btw F-117 Nighthawk was not retired bc of performance issues. Big surprise it was cost issues, making room for F-22 Raptor's, and the combination that we didn't need two stealth bombers so the middle man so to speak was pushed out bc it was a fighter/bomber that couldn't fight it's one hell of a bomber however The B-2 is obviously The Stealth Bomber and F-22 Fighter leaving no cost room for The F-117! Nothing to do with performance, unfortunately just not needed beyond using in testing currently
@@pogo1140 lol yup I was just saying that😆👍
You beat me to it. You have to keep an open mind tho, I mean it's a shrouded Aircraft. We kno it's still being used as a test plane but who really knows, the classified world runs deep
Question: do the AWACS scan in a specific area/direction, or look 'everywhere'? Any way you could come down on top of them via stealth if they weren't expecting it?
they scan like a donut. Yes you can come straight down and they would never see you, but you'd never be able to get in that position I imagine.
When operating mission like these do the US have a ground based combat controller with the big picture (DCS F10 view) that is calling out targets warnings and to particular aircraft?
We need an algorithm for "our commander pocketed all of our funding and sold the parts we needed for maintenance..."
Or our troops don't have sufficient training to operate equipment correctly even if the equipment is functional (unlikely)
Closest I've seen AWACS is the south east corner of Romania nr Moldova border and coastline. Racetracks over land, not over water. Saw this today. A few RAF Typhoons on qra there also, F16s also I believe. Global Hawk goes over the black sea though.
And RAF RC-135 over Black Sea.
ua-cam.com/video/-sjLlXwSm4A/v-deo.html
Saw some KC-135s over northern Romania a couple weeks ago.
the planes are stealthy but i doubt that russia could never notice planes not in the ukraine air force
literally ace combat shit lmao planes just don't disappear without being noticed
"OK Mr. Tanker, prepare to accept me." You really know how to talk dirty to the ladies.
Which is my favorite? I'm biased, I worked on the F-22 ejection system and did Hotpit refueling.
Fun fact, We scored possibly the first Ground to Air Kill in an F-22 with the engine exhaust during hotpits at Langley Air Force Base.
There was a Mylar birthday balloon floating over the flightline towards the jets. We told our pilot, who looked back and asked "Flight Surfaces clear?"
I tucked myself in the wheel well while staying grounded as the pilot pulled back on the flight controls, pointing the Vectored Nozzles upward and heated the balloon, causing it to float upwards and away from the jets, and settled in between the taxiway and the runway, where our Hotpits Super picked it up.
I think that the F-22 was the most dangerous combat aircraft suited to dominate the skies.
It is still an embarrassment that the F-35 was more getting attention than the F-22 maybe because of the price tag. Nations like Japan just really wanted to buy this raptor even if they were to spend billions of their currency. Seriously, you guys created a monster.
You were doing hot pits as an egress troop? Tf
@@theboothy91 they were hurting for manning so I volunteered. It was one of those jobs I was excited to do.
@@Pythos_Sapunov must have been around 2013 lmao
@@theboothy91 from 2008-2012 when I was doing hotpits, did some on the F-15s before they left in 2009
Been following these videos for a while now. Been thinking about downloading DCS but would have to uninstall quite a few of my games to ensure enough room is there, how is the single player on it? Steam cites it has single player and I am wondering if its worth downloading on the single player aspect or if this game shines more with coop/online.
I think operating on such altitudes when you want to be "invisible" and secret isn't a good idea;)
I would expect the Americans to operate from some sort of standoff range to avoid closing even if you don't guarantee a kill just denying operations in a similar manner to SAM sites would be considered a win. It would be cool if you guys when doing these kind of sims didn't just w key your way into their faces every time but tried to maintain distance and fire engage from longer distances if you get within visual range or close enough that they can detect and possibly identify you then the jig is up. . (I know navigation is hard for some of you so I totally understand why having designated patrol or engagement areas is a no go)
The Flankers were just scared of the sexy 5th Gen stealth planes
Also Canon-Ball sounds like the ai voice!
Also it isn't just about AWAC coverage, but SEAD coverage as well. Ever since the F-117 got shot down during Kosovo, not even stealth aircraft enter without EW support.
i was thinking about this exact scenario the other day
new subscriber here, I've been following some of the wargames stuff and was wondering if you would ever consider doing a simulated wargame between Nato-China around the area of the joint Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project.
it's a hotspot of interest and would be interested in seeing a simulated chaos around the region due to the project.
Why would NATO be fighting in Africa? Are their NATO members in Africa?
@@michaeldenesyk3195 NATO and the United States in general has plenty of bases in Africa, also in recent times Egypt has been becoming a closer partner to NATO mainly due to the fact Ethiopia has become increasingly involved in the BRICS block mainly due to Chinese influence.
I am no longer allowed to do China stuff in the WarGames sadly :(
@@grimreapers oh that's a shame....
Cap is very good at docking! (for fuel)
The Russians canceled the air part of their victory Day parade due to "weather"
Could a squadron of stealth strike aircraft have taken advantage of the lack of Russian aircraft in the air?
I just want Putin to eat a JDAM
cancellation due to weather doesnt mean aicraft can't fly, it means it can't be seen from ground, what makes air parade pointless
@@user-qb9ec2is9n someone with a working brain
No one is doing air parade in bad weather! If the sky is too cloudy and even if they are low enough you just wouldn't see anything. And their is a security height when doing air parade above urban environment! You can't fly lower than that!
@@user-qb9ec2is9n It was sunny and calm in Moscow. ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkx1MEAEoJnt3L3eKS3TZtVs_dNqBnRB-B8
Flying them slow you could do A-10 runs
it's cool, and i now it's too late, but it will be more accurate and, most importantly, even more intresting to place some MiG-31's in ready to take off group. They are most likely will perform interception task in real situation. Will love to see them if you are going to do some other UA simulations.
And yes, i'm still voting to lend some guys to the Forces of Worldwide Evil a.k.a Russia. I think 4 to 2 is the most appropriate separation. Under human control: 2 Raptors + 2 Lightnings vs 1 Su-35S airborne + 1 MiG-31 ready to take off or 1 Su-57 airborne. But that is only my thoughts
And a few mushroom clouds to go around!
@@michaelvangundy226and that's still more realistic then 0.005 F-35 RCS
No happening, this Ukraine simulations are more in favour of Ukraine winning than being realistic
Roger, will take this in to consideration when re-doing vid.
We need to see more of these Ukraine vs Russia matchups
And not one Ukrainian mistook a raptor for a SU-35...Unlike Cap.😀
First one shot down gets the title of the man who started WW3.
Hey guys what do I need to get playing, thank u ,love your content
So stealthy it prevented the fighters from spawning
This should be interesting
Well, that there is debris from AIM-120s mixed in the Debris of the SU-25 might be a give away...
25:00 flat panic :D
Do you use a Track IR with this game? I used to use it years ago with ArmA.
Even without the SU35 it was a cool video to watch
I did wonder if the USA could use B-2 to drop supply for the Ukrainian forces undetected...?
Like into the previously besieged Kyiv for example.
THIS would be a great vid.
You'd need to drop down low to keep the supplies from being scattered all over the countryside.
While is an interesting scenario I don’t think is necessary to use b2, equipment already flows to Ukraine from the western part of the country fact that it’s not a secret to Russia, that and that a b2 couldn’t really carry anything that the Ukrainians need that other platforms could deliber more efficiently
@@d.olivergutierrez8690 for units that are behind the lines. Hard to justify it on cost benefit
Interesting.
Need to add a Buccaneer. Cross section of a house, but at 500kts at 5ft undetectable 🙂
The only reason they didn't fly higher was the weight of their massive testicles
The raptor is a beast it’s like the f15 eagles and the other is like f16 so two different planes
you are forgetting one thing, the AI aren't drunk and poorly trained, they knock radar out with DJI drones, don't need stealth
Oh yeah, well prepared and brave 500 000 UA military is drastically losing to the 150 000 drunk and poorly trained RU army. My favorite tabloid-world
@@user-qb9ec2is9n u OK hun?

whoa what are the odds of the timing of this video? so weird
IDK if modern encription would take care of it but usually covert mission are usually done in radio silence.
That was a long time ago, encrypted comms have been in use for well over a decade.
Just a curious question, besides the radar if you did these runs in bad weather does that make a difference with poor or no visibility on the ground it is quite possible that this scenario is very possible
Great idea""
Raptor,,,, but my favorite will be the secret replacement I'm sure we have in operation like the f117 no one knew about till revealed in combat
4:40 Schools and hospitals would be more realistic targets.
If azov nazi positioned inside - then for sure!
Do it again, Cap :-) Actually, please do it again because it's VERY COOL 😀
Wilco next week.
God, just imagine what would be going on aboard that A50. Just another day at the office dropping dumb bombs on orphanages when suddenly you hear panic on the comms of several simultaneous dogfights popping off and just watching friendly contacts disappear. There's no way they wouldn't know after a certain amount of time. Would send one hell of a message though.
F-35 is technically A bomber as where the f-22 is a fighter .....great video
Raptor but Fat Amy also has a place in my heart
F22 raptor is my absolute favorite fighter. What a bird she is.
gret video as always have you ever thought of doing a colab with a real RAF pilot i know fast jet performance plays dcs could make a rely fun video
Great and Informative as always
The game is that old ? It looks awsome man. So many things you could do. I wonder what the government uses for war simulations like without people just run throughs through a very powerfull pc / programe.
How many 11:29 seats are in that plane anyway? Is there a sofa on the back?
KC 135's and an occasional KC10 appear daily over SE Romania
Yes
Didn’t the Israelis fly a couple F 35‘s over Iran and they didn’t even have a clue
Syria, not Iran, they'd have to use tankers over Saudi Arabia or Iraq in order to fly over Iran, or they could land in Saudi and operate from there.
@@pogo1140 nope they were over Iran, ua-cam.com/video/wVlDLrWVNA8/v-deo.html
The *rumor* was yes, they flew over Tehran, and some IRGC general got fired over it. It's a rumor of course.
I’m assuming that the F-22 RCS is higher due to game restrictions but the F-22s RCS is much smaller than the F-35 at around 0.0001m2
Out of curiosity to do night ops could you use a mod to allow spectator mode to have night vision?
personally, id pick the lightning II as my aircraft
love it
I do really wish you would do night ops. Honestly its my favorite to watch next to early morning or late evening. Ive done some testing with recording at night for videos of my own and just turning up the brightness a little bit makes things visible for the viewer. It seems like it wouldnt work/be visible enough, but as a graphic designer, I can tell you that people make the same mistake with text size. They think it will be too small when in reality its perfectly readable. Im addicted to your videos and would love to see more night content from you guys!
Tried, but get lots of people unsubscribe from this youtube channel if I show a night mission, just dones't seem worth the hassle.
@@grimreapers Thats a real shame :( Keep up the great content though! Been binging your fa 18 tutorials and they're super helpful for me.
14:02 Any force seeing this formation in the airspace is about to have a very bad day.
I love the F-22
In the 80`s my father was wathing sr-71 on radar when he was in the warsaw pact army he was subscribed after getting master degre
Up next, Ukrainian SU-27PU Strikes on Zminiyi/Snake Island.
I really hope there are ways to fly a UCAV in DCS to simulate anti-tank sorties.
