Hi Chase! Good video! My 2007 just turned 285K miles and the driveshaft still seems tight and quiet. The car is still running well and is overall still in good condition. Your videos give me encouragement to keep driving it and keep performing the needed repairs. Thanks! -N
Just checked my drive shaft while I was putting in the new rear sub frame along with the torq locker and diff skid plate. Everything is looking solid now, and wow that torq locker makes a huge difference!
Nice, it is always good to know everything on the car is ready for some action! Glad to hear that you enjoy it! We had a Forester on the last trail run with one and they definitely make a huge difference
Another Job well done, dirty face and all Chase. I know those Shafts are non-serviceable, I have found joints for them although it's a bit tough to find you can change them with a press. but your method is much easier. Keep up the great work showing how to videos. Been on Vacation for a month and back enjoying your content. Thank You !!
Beat this. My subaru forester 2001 station wagon has 550,000 km on th clock & still charging hard. I just replaced my driveshaft. Just making sure i havnt messed anything up doing it myself. Its not vibrating & whistling anymore haha. Mx

That's an impressive amount of miles! That's good you don't have any vibrations anymore haha
How much was the part? I have. 2012 Subaru Forester x and I'm seeing $180-260. Thanks bud
The drive shaft? I pulled it off a car at the junk yard so it was only 60 CAD!
Why didn’t you show the actual U joint removal and install.
Because like I said in the video, I didn’t change the U-Joint…. I just put in a better condition drive shaft
