  • This is a quick demo of the Behringer V-Tone GDI21, a cheap Tech 21 GT2 clone. The Seymour Duncan Custom P90 ist pretty high output (over 14k), so 'clean' tones are a stretch.

Fretting with one hand, controlling the pedal with the other hand... so I assume you’re strumming with your... that’s some talent I tell you.

This pedal got lots of potential butnits not appealing as boss stompbox or mxr or tc. But for the price, i think this is the winner.

Have you tried to put the modulation and time-based pedal before gdi21 in a signal chain order? If you did, what’s the end result? 🤘🤘🤘

How's the hiss on this? I'm looking for an amp sim that's less hissy than my California sound pedal.

it's a surprisingly low noise pedal. it terms of sound, i would go with the palmer pocket amp mk2. a little more expensive but sounds better.

@@SLARPmusic I'm getting the behringer for Christmas. Its cheap and sounds cheap. The Palmer sounded middling. The original sansamp sounds great. But to my ears, the really great pedals combine a certain indefinable "wow" factor with somewhat crappy sound. I would put the ds1, the metal zone and the jackhammer in this category. In spite of the crappiness, the more expensive versions of the sansamp don't have that same "wow" factor. So even though it's cheap and sounds crappier, I still think that the behringer has a certain something to the sound that makes it more exciting than the other sansamp type pedals.
I'll see how I get on with it. If I don't like it then I think I'm gonna buy a DIY kit for a condor cab SIM.
