''Enjoy Donkey Kong 64 levels in SM64, including new abilities inspired by each Kong!'' credits: Kaze Released on April 17, 2016. #mario64 #n64 #romhack #longplay #fullgame
just something about DK64 that appealed to me had that very specific atmosphere. used to play it alot as a kid, i still have the same feeling about it.
King Bob-omb in Frantic Factory. A bomb factory, huh? Let's hope the pirates are not keeping pie bombs somewhere in there! And, I'll bet you can guess what I made a reference of!
The camera formatting and speed is much more efficient in Super Mario 64. Not only that, but Mario is able to jump heights and fly forward so agile and quick like none of the Kongs can ever do. Imagine the camera moving this fast in Donkey Kong 64, you wouldn't have to be as patient. In the actual Donkey Kong 64 format, your character is followed closely from behind, but it looks like Lakitu is able to follow faster. It's kind of neat to think of who's behind the camera in each of these games. Who's filming Banjo in Banjo-Kazooie? Probably Gruntilda when you're in her lair, and Bottles in the worlds, then Jamjars films you in Banjo-Tooie since he's the only one keeping watch of your journey the most. Who's filming the Kongs in Donkey Kong 64? It may be obvious that it's Squawks, because he's keeping watch of the adventure.
12:27 I'm surprised that's not Out of bounds. Maybe because the creator realized the fight would've been harder without removing the out of bounds area?
Project Longplay coming out with another “Should’ve would’ve could’ve Super Mario 64” that would be a great addition to the series for the N64 in 1997. Did you create those mods yourself?
All this shows to me is why DK64 needed the Expansion Pak to begin with. Clearly, some sacrifices had to be made to fit the game in SM64. D:
Specifically the pak's ram is used for vertex lighting
But this is a Super Mario 64 game
these sacrifices made were due to export/import of the maps and had nothing to do with memory size. DK64 does not need an expansion pak imo

SpongeBob SquarePants? That’s what I thought of when you said something about pie bombs.

Now we just need to jump in the water and swim down to the krusty krab where a stash of coins are waiting.

Would have been better if they had Donkey Kong in place of Mario.

The Donkey Kong 64 music in the Super Mario 64 soundfont is so so good!
I think real title is “Super Mario in Donkey Kong 64”
Yo that DK theme just ummm soo good 😌🤌👌 Im telling you the DK soundtracks are just untouchable handsdown. Even if its fan made.
13:38 umm.... Hold up. Why is that star the 100 coin one when you don't have 100 coins?
A really interesting mod work. I really enjoyed it.

No, the authors are mentioned in the description.

DK64 had a better camera than SM64
Is this a April fool day joke
It’s missing the “GET OUT 👹”
Is that a partnerships between Mario and donkey Kong?
awesome :D
dk64's levels feel a lot smaller playing as mario
Bro how you even get it look kinda fun 🤩
こう見るとドンキーコング64がどれだけ優れているか
それに比べてマリオ64がどれだけ劣ってるかがよくわかるな

Everything Nintendo should of done
But no.
This is not what I wanted
What makes this, Donkey Kong?
I guess it’s based off Donkey Kong…
it's essentially a mash-up of DK64 levels in SM64
