To everyone who thinks im “deleting” their comments, I have better things to do

"But, it's possible to get out of the hate that you were born in." Well said, Rudy. This is a message for people of all countries.

  • @kparandeh

Rudy, as an Iranian (and fellow guitarist), you’re absolutely right. You can always CHOOSE to get out of the hate that you were born to. I know I did. Inshallah Rudy 🙏🏼

There are many young people such as myself across the world feeling solidarity by humanity, not nationality. I am one of many young diasporic Jews who has overcome a lot of the propaganda taught to us in our schools, and I believe change is possible and inevitable if we are willing. I'm so glad to hear you overcame the hate taught in school as well!

no one should ever be forced to be in a comedic bubble its good you shared how you felt

  • @sillyape741

Thank you Rudy for using your platform to share a simple message, even at a financial risk. So many people are showing their true colours.

Big respect man, to think that this kind of thing is still possible in a world where we can share information globally instantaneously is horrific, but anyone with a platform taking the opportunity to speak is important.

Thank you for using your platform to speak out! Each voice makes a difference and the world is waking up.

Rudy please don't underestimate the power of your comedy and music in reaching a world wide audience and showing a lighter side of Middle Eastern culture. We don't see enough of this in the USA. It is a powerful way to humanize people and build empathy. Thank you for your message.

  • @saralikeskiwi

Rudy, thank you for making this video. I have so enjoyed your music and comedy, so this glimpse at the human behind the entertainer is so valuable. So many immigrants and children of immigrants from the Middle East (like myself) are struggling with the survivor guilt that you describe here. Survivor guilt is a symptom of PTSD, which can happen to people who are exposed to a lot of traumatic events, even if they do not experience them directly. This phenomenon is a reminder that we are all connected by way of our humanity. This situation is horrific and raises so many questions about humanity and its limits, but I thank you in sharing your grief, as many of us feel like our grief is invisible or invalid.

As a Canadian kid born to Palestinian parents, I was admittedly, not nearly as educated on the Palestine-Israel conflict as I should have been. With everything going on and so many disparate opinions and people being completely dismissed and ostracized for feeling one way or another about it, I just want to thank you for taking the opportunity to say something. Hate only has a place here if we allow it to. Thanks for standing up. And thanks for making us laugh in a time when it is so desperately needed.

I heard the attack of white phosphorus on Lebanon, my thoughts and prayers are to them like the people of Gaza and anyone with a human conscience.

Long time watching, first time commenting. Some people think that being vocal is hopeless, so they don't do it. I think it's still better than silence. Well done Rudy.

  • @noellerose3453

Your comedy videos have helped me get through this time. I have family in the West Bank and am Palestinian American on my fathers side. I have felt the same unjust feelings you expressed at the end of the video. Thank you for making this statement of logic.

Good for you for taking this couragous step bro!! When we have good things while our brothers and sisters are suffering we should be greatful for the good, comfort, peace, provisions etc. that we have.

As a Jew, I have no hate for Arabs of any kind. I believe that October has left the people of Israel, Palestine, and others nations crying out in rage and in pain from the loss of loved ones. I hope the war in Gaza will end soon. I hope after the war we can find a fair two state solution and that we all can live as good neighbors to one another. I hope we can one day forgive each other for the bloodshed. May we all find a brighter future. Shalom, Salaam, Peace.

A close friend of mine (Palestinian born in Sweden) being successful in her career, struggled with similar thoughts. As she said she couldn't get it off her mind that while she was lucky enough to live an easy and comfortable life her people are suffering on their motherland like outcasts, facing unimaginable challenges. It made her feel called to give back to the less fortunate ones, and share their fate, so a few years ago she decided to pack her life, leave everything behind and move to the West Bank from Sweden. Now she is the one who is helping us with information daily to see through the mass media's manipulations and to meet reality. I am grateful to her.

I rarely comment but I need to thank you for being vocal, Rudy. My heart has been so heavy for a while now and you put my many of my thoughts into words.

Rudy I found out out about you on the Musician Mansion show . My first thought of you were(only during the actual show) wow this guy seems wry uptight and stand-off ish. Then I see a lot of peoples behind the scenes stuff and realized “Oh I’m a jerk for judging this guy so quick” and now seeing this video and coming to your channel afterwards has made me respect you soo much. It’s very brave and bold to talk about key points like this especially on a social media platform. It hurts knowing lives are out there being hurt, Thrown out of their homes, and others just loosing their lives. I wish this upon no one at all. But man thank you for speaking out and let’s all hope we can find ways to help end all of this suffering

  • @JustinG1057

You are brave, Rudy. We need more creators like you.
