Aloha and Thank You. Appreciate you and your kind words. We're ALL going to be fine, in spite of ourselves. LOL+ Best Wishes and Come to Maui when you can. Stay Sane.
It'd be cool for those re-building Lahaina to keep the area as exactly as it was, but without it looking fake, (Oh, and good luck with that). KEEP ITS HISTORY ALIVE !!!
Aloha and Thank You. We all wish for that, but impossible. Ex. State Law highly restricts how close buildings can be to the ocean. All of the ocean side buildings along Front Street are now illegal and have been for many years. Nothing to "Grandfather" any longer. So, I am hoping they Master Plan will call for a closed Front Street to traffic, as the buildings will only be "mountain-side" of Front Street. But that is many years from now. Residential is first.
Aloha and Thanks. Yes, I'd love to do that. There's just no place, none at all, for reasonable rent. Many others are also looking for space. I just don't want to do a food truck. But I'll keep looking.
Thank you for the update. Let us know as soon as the mall is open and definitely when Aloha Mix plate and Star Noodle opens. We are coming in a couple months.
Aloha. I did a new video today. Aloha Mixed Plate is open. Star Noodle will open soon. I'll do a video of AMP this week. Best Aloha Wishes and Safe Travels.
Really? What's odd? Explain. They dug down a bit to get every bit of, possible, toxic materials and then bring in a nice layer of fresh dirt. FRESH DIRT. That you think is weird. BTW -- each owner can choose what they do on their lot.
@@MauiTravelVideos That's right, label and insult me, so you don't have to think about the odd fire that missed the trees, yet turned ceramic toilet bowls into powder. Good Luck With That.
We are "residents" Actually, we're called "Displaced Residents" that lived in the Burn Zone. We and I, especially me, don't want tourists wandering around Lahaina town collecting ash and taking fun pictures of the destroyed places they used to visit. Tourists can be and have been very very disrespectful. I'm happy to see people and business owners come to grieve and have closure without folks like yourself. Best Wishes.
Come To Maui. Educate Yourself. Facts Matter. The first picture clearly shows a totally "cleaned" lot, ready for permits to allow building, once the water situation improves. Be A Smart Person. Not What You Are Showing.
While it is obviously gut wrenching and sad, so glad to see your video and narration which is more positive than many others.

Unusual fire....
@G-ra-ha-m you don’t live here. What you’re attempting to imply, is conspiracy nonsense.
