That was a really really good car and do everything I wanted, even the power was ample and loved the sound of it
First new shape mini I've actually liked the look of mainly due to the colour, but for me the r56 will always be king :) good review.

The wheels are 18 inch "Double Spoke 534". What makes them special is that they are forged. I have a White Silver Metallic 2019 Cooper S (manual) on order with these wheels without having ever seen a Cooper S in White Silver Metallic nor the wheels in real life. So nice to see a WSM car with those exact wheels in a video. The valve exhaust was outlawed sometime in 2018. 2019 cars have particle filters and can't use the valve exhaust except the JCW which doesn't have a particle filter but is still sold in some markets regardless. You make nice down to earth videos keep it up :o)
Thank you very much for the comments , you are obviously a massive mini fan and know your stuff. Yes was end of 2018 when the particle filters came in. I was told by the dealer they were 19’ wheels but if you have some on order maybe not 😂. Has to be the best mini I have driven in terms of fun factor although the sound of the exhaust was addictive. Got a pov video to put together but no idea how good the footage is. Are you in the uk ?
I'm in Denmark. I wanted a compact fun to drive GTI-style of car. After almost a year I decided on a Mini. It delivers a nice overall package for me. Also I like how Mini owners are enthusiastic. Sadly I came too late for the 211HP upgrade & JCW ProTuning exhaust. This option actually made me notice and want a Mini at first. But now it's not available anymore. The Double Spoke 534 wheels look really nice in your video. They are 7x18 ET54. I've only seen pictures until now, but feel quite confident that I'm going to like them :-) They go well with the car.
I agree mini owners are passionate and care a lot about there cars and the brand in general. You could retro fit the exhaust but I think it would invalidate your warranty so not worth doing. You will not it even so🙌

MotorSport & Dream Cars There is no big difference. Besides from the stiffer springs, the exhaust and some other little styles differences(like the red accents), they are exactly the same. You can also easily install the jcw pro package on a regular jcw.
It’s the noise the sound that added something special for me although you would not have it on ASBO mode all the time. I did not have the car that long but found even at 20 miles an hour if you just lifted off it bad all kinds of lovely bangs 🤭

JN RW that’s correct so this would be the last of its type and probably the newest car with this spec. Good mini facts there. Mini owner or just love the cars or both 😊
@@DamoDrives Yeah surprising that they took such a fun little option away, I guess it's something to do with emissions? I was told by MINI that the exhaust system in track mode fuel is injected somewhere into the system to produce the pops and bangs so it does effect mpg. Definitely worth it though, such a fun little car.
They don’t even have the normal pops and bangs on the cooper s or JCW and you are right it’s emissions. You can not fit an aftermarket exhaust either as it then effects your warranty but I think the benefits out way the cons of owning 1
They're auxiliary driving lights, not fog lights! And isn't the panoramic sunroof an optional extra?

I've just had the JCW Pro Exhaust and tuning kit fitted to my Cooper S by Dick Lovett Mini in Bristol, so it's still possible. My Mini is a 2015 though, so maybe the exhaust is not available for newer models?
They stopped making the exhaust end of 2018 so you were very lucky for them to find someone who had 1. They are amazing sounding though so enjoy
Do mini now offer a full chrome delete option? no car should have chrome on it...
They offer the handles and petrol cover. But not the chrome rim around the windows :(

The parts numbers for a MINI F56 JCW Tuning kit is,
18.30.2.407.322 and that is for the Tuning kit.
18.30.2.349.677 this is for the Carbon exhaust trim.

Hello. Is the exhaust still available for 2019/2020 cars in UK?
Using this exhaust is forbidden in Germany for cars built after November 2017.
I just got me a 2016 hatch with the JCW pro exhaust and I can't wait to push it. I didn't know about the exhaust since I found a video on UA-cam by chance. I tried to get one for my JCW Clubman, but there's nothing comparable to this crazy thing.
I dont think you can and have to go aftermarket. You will see on the channel I reviewed a modified clubman with a Remus cat back and that sounded epic as well but the overall package on this car was brilliant 😊

Glad you enjoyed the video, if it has a pro exhaust it will have a Bluetooth controller to open the valve (it’s a small tube with a button on the end) not sure if the exhaust itself has anything on it

This is not a 2019 mate. It is not even a LCI model (since it doesn't have the updated headlights, updated MINI logos and updated infotainment system)... Get your facts right! I'd say this is a 2018 that was produces just before the first LCI cars.
Difficult to get everything right, we all make a few mistakes but I don’t think it takes away from being a real drivers car although maybe it does for people who know a lot about minis and by this comment you do know you stuff.

ObrerSchmied the pro exhaust was discontinued at the start of the year which is a massive shame as it sounded amazing. You might find a dealer who has 1 or could get hold of 1 but not sure what to suggest

That is awesome news it really did add a little something to the car but saying that it would have been a great car anyway 🙌. On a different note driving my 1st ever bmw next weekend the new Z4 M40i as they are part of the mini dealership

They might be able to fit lowering springs as was the case with the JCW but I am not sure if the modifications made were part of the pro kit. I would recommend just having a chat, I am certain they will be happy to help you spend a bit more cash 😂
The gearbox is not dual clutch in the JCW
I might be mistaken but I was sure the 8 speed ZF in this model was duel clutch but regardless it was very good

Actually i'll slightly change my comment, I think all cars should have a tiptronic gearbox like the old Mitsubishi FTO had, was incredible leaving it in full auto for daily commute then for fun you whack it over then its semi auto flick down flick up just like a racecar....best gearbox I've ever had in a car.
The FTo was the best box ? Or the mini. I did find the 8 speed box in this with the paddles very quick changing up and down and certainly better than the 6 speed auto box on some of the other models
