This was my first time watching your video today. I really enjoyed it. I have to say, the red blazer dress looks amazing on you. So slimming. I love Shapeware also. My favorite is Maidenform, the wear your own bra style. Unfortunately it does not breathe so its almost impossible to wear during the HOT Louisiana summers.
Thanks for the Apple body fashion tips!

    • @ImjustmeMarleen
      @ImjustmeMarleen  5 місяців тому

Buy jeans that are higher waisted hun so you can tuck in the “muffin top”.
It’s because your jeans cut you in the wrong place. It will happen too if the jeans are too small of course but I’d simply try to go for some that are higher waisted x

Dear Marleen, TOP TIPS you give always darling!
    - If I were to wear such high-necked clothing my boobs would look even bigger!! So I always wear a top or dress with a décolleté (preferably V-neck). But it does suit you. This striped shirt with bow suits your beautiful, sweet girl!
    - It sounds crazy, but I also had a flat bottom, but when I lay in bed to rest (for many hours ;-( ) I started doing some kind of 'bum' exercises lying on my side, my back, my stomach. I tensed & relaxed my bum muscles several times (built up the number) and over time my bottom really became firmer and without plastic surgery!! I did it slowly because I had a lot of pain (my diseases) and was very tired , but it worked in the end. My husband could not keep his hands off my bumbum HAHAHA!! And I was proud as a peacock 😂.
    - I am an expensive lady because because I am allergic to fake jewelry I can only wear real gold. It's a pitty cause I miss out on a lot of fab stuff. Luckely I got some nice pieces now that I'm 64 ;-)
gifts from my husband on special occasions.
    - The shirt from outfit 2 = 💖💝💕!!!!! Problem is due to my diseases, I often sweat very hard and if I wear a shirt/vest/blazer or other over a T-shirt or top, I have to take it off and yes, when the T or top are tucked in, you can see that belly very clearly 😓 and that bothers me. So, that is a problem I could not solve yet. That is why I always wear the shirt/top or T not tucked in. For now, but I will try some half tucks o.a.!
    - Outfit 3 = classy, sassy & swag!!!!! BEAUTIFUL! Wish you could style me like that (taking into account that I sweat so much and always have to have pockets (to put puffer (asthma) and handkerchief (hay fever all year round) in), in person but that will not happen for many reasons. Still, I very much enjoy your channel, your advice is to point and you present fab pieces some of which I would like to have myself, like that shirt (outfit 2) and outfit 3. but in bright pink and red LMAO!!!
    - I sometimes wear a red bra underneath a white top/shirt 😁😉yep, I'm a rebel!!
    - Outfit 4: I love that red dress (and it has pockets!!) but I'm a huge fan of long dresses that this past years (old hippy??? hihi). O yeah, and short sleeves (sweat remember?).
You can wear heels??? OMG, I can not wear that high heels, I need no, a wedge or a sturdy heel. That is why I wear ballerinas, sneakers, short and long boots, even over-the-knees-boots (+ love bikerboots!), all with flat or sturdy or wedge heels. Yes, I'm short and chubby without high heels, but I do not give a damn HAHAHA!
About long dresses or skirts: Especially in the summer, I love to wear long skirts or dresses, when there is a breeze the hem of the garment blows up and it 'ventilates' under the garment, nice and fresh!! 🤣
    - The last outfit rocks! Although I do not like the pants (but to each his own, you gree sweetie?).
    - Marleentje, you just have to think: There are always exceptions to the rule!!
I did it again, it became a long epistle yet again ROFLMAO!!!!
Stay healthy and safe, lots of love and hugs to you, Emma and your furry friend. Pinkie

Hi Pinkie, I hope you are/have been a writer in your life dear. You have the gift for sure.
I’m glad you like the outfits and yes each to their own. I speak related to myself and apples in general. We all have different shapes so what ever works.
I do online personal styling so there is always that should you need. There is a link to my website in the description box of all the videos so if that can help, you can check it out there x
Have a great day hun and thank you xx

@@ImjustmeMarleenHoi dear, No, but I wrote a lot of letters when I was young! My son (29) is a writer though (in Old English (Archaic English), he writes action-adventure stories in animé- or steampunk-style), but he is not known yet. He has no income (does it from his savings in the past) and does it all by him selve and that is very expensive. No publisher cause they are not interested in those kinds of stories, only in reality stories (transsexual stories, migrant stories, depression stories, etc.). And if you have no income it is difficult to achieve anything. Stars or relatives of such a person get everything done, but an unknown person really has to fight extremely hard. I can only hope for a good future because he leans very hard on me, I am his sounding board, his helper and listening ear. If you are seriously chronically ill, also have a physical disability (he has no right hand) and barely go outside (too much pain), then you cannot easily find the love of your life. He only knows people through online media, the computer is his window to the world. He plays games when he's not writing. Alone or with me (well, he plays and I support. Only the pompoms are still missing. ROFL)
He is very intelligent and wanted to continue his studies, to go to university. But his body said: "Nope, done with it!!" and he has been at home ever since. He has never gone out like many young people, will never be able to live or work alone. At the age of 18 he thought about taking his own life, but writing stories literally saved him. We are virtually alone with our disease (fibromyalgia) because the medical world and society condemns you and does not want to believe you, refusing to listen to experts. They think it's simple, that for example one diet or another will change your life, but many fibro's (and we) have tried EVERYTHING, USELESS!!!
But giving up can not be found in our dictionary LOL. We keep on fighting. Enjoy little things like a cup of coffee and a chocolat praline HAHAHA.
So, do not worry, okay sweetheart. As long as I can enjoy your vids I will feel happy!!!! Thanks for that ray of sunshine that you are!
To be honets, I am better in written words that spoken ones ;-)
Maxi huge hugs from Pinkie, also to Emma and the furry friend!

    • @ImjustmeMarleen
      @ImjustmeMarleen  5 місяців тому

Ah I’m sorry hun, I know fibro is very hard. Have loved ones living with it and I have long covid myself which seem to be similar.
May I suggest your son to do UA-cam? He can make money there and he could simply film himself doing his drawings. I’d lie if I said it wasn’t hard work but I work from home, in my own time and make a few pennies.
And he doesn’t have to talk or even show his face just film the drawing. Film on his phone no fancy equipment needed. that’s what I do. Maybe a thought.
All the best to you both xx

@@ImjustmeMarleen Hoi honnepon, he does not draw comics, sweetie, he is a writer. We did, long ago, some games together and he put those on youtube but editing is become to hard to do.
And reading those stories out loud is not doable. We have to sell the books ourselfs which is not easy cause their excuses are: "we do not speak English" (family and friends) and when you can go out much and your innercircle is very small (when you are a pesron with a chronical disease) anyway. There is no solution I fear, maybe in the future. We keep our hope up!
Sweet of you to think with us!!!
Yeah, I know about a lot of people who had covid and did not recover totally, so I feel for you, hunny! I so wish there will come a good solution for that covid problem so people will heal completely!!! I hope so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.
You are a very sweet lady, you know?
A real juwel!!!! Huge hugs from Pinkie

      @jozefbols4386 5 місяців тому

      @@ImjustmeMarleen
IMPORTANT: First & foremost, I translate everything via Google Translate so errors (some funny, sometimes stupid) may appear in my comment for which I'm sorry! I can speak English, but my illness often makes me drowsy (fog in the head due to the excruciating pain) and that is why I have to do it this way. However, I am no longer always able to check that text.
      - Sweet Marleentje, hope everything is okay with you because I haven't heard from you? Hope your Covid troubles haven't struck again? Stay safe sweetheart and healthy as much you can (easier said than done).
      - Sweetie, I've been thinking about it for a while and I think I know why you thought he makes comics. The words: anime and steampunk style, right??? So an understandable misunderstanding.
But he writes in old English (he types on the PC and also makes the cover, everything directly on the PC. When the story is finished, he sends it to a website that makes your stories and other things in book form. You then order a number of books, like he ordered 50 copies. So he can't really film anything.
By the way, UA-cam is more complicated than people think, I know. It's not that simple, so I admire you enormously for putting in so much effort with all that rotten Covid misery!!!!
      - He (my son) has to 'write' it on the computer due to his physical disability. So I have to tell you a little more about that first.
He was born with only his wrist joint, a part of the palm and mini fingers on that palm part. I started calling this his 'little flower hand'. That word meant that he was never ashamed of his disability. It involved his right hand and the doctor had never noticed anything on the fetal scans.
So it was a bit of a shock, but only for my husband and the bystanders (doctor, nurse) because I saw it but immediately accepted it, only had eyes for his face. He didn't cry at all but opened his eyes. There was immediate recognition and I had the feeling that I had given birth to a baby with an old soul. Love radiated from his and my eyes.
Only after they took him away to be washed did he start to get used to it and so did I. A feeling of missing each other intensely!! It was weird.
The completely crazy thing was that it seemed like his brain hadn't noticed that he didn't have a right hand because he WAS right-handed!! When he was walking around the house I was sweeping the floor, had to put the broom down and when it fell over the son held the broom with his 'little flower hand' instead of with his left hand!!!
He had to learn to write etc. with his left hand, but that continued to cause him problems. He quickly developed severe writing cramps, not ideal when you're at school, of course.
That is why he does the writing on the computer.
In kindergarten they had a computer in the classroom and the teacher told us that the parents of other children came to see our son 'rage' on the keyboard!! He was really fast at typing and also used his little flower hand!! People were amazed at how well he, as a little boy, could use that computer keyboard. People also thought it was funny and great to see how handy he was. We felt very proud of course haha.
And so he is often at the PC. That is also his contact with the outside world.
Once he was an adult we loved gaming together (f.i.: Assassin's Creed)
and chatted about it in the meantime. He wanted to record this with a voice changer and aliases. So he did that for a while, but after a while he couldn't do it anymore, having to edit was too exhausting and unfortunately he had to give it up. We both thought and think it was more than a shame. But finding someone who wants to do that for you, for free......that's an impossible task, isn't it, dear? Which is normal because it is hard work!
      - Then I wanted to give you some information regarding to ... fibro, another rotten disease! Maybe you want and can pass this on to the people you know (and are close to you) and who knows, hopefully you can help them.
Just about all doctors label people who are sick with: "FIBRO" and sometimes those people don't have fibro at all!!! Did you know that there are diseases that cause exactly the same symptoms? For example: if you were bitten by a tick, could you get Lyme disease? Resulting in exactly the same symptoms!! But acidic muscles also cause the same symptoms and you CAN remedy that and sometimes even cure it completely!!!!!!
You get acidic muscles by consuming certain foods (and drinks) with a high 'acidity level (PH)'! And you should avoid them from now on, that is not a diet to lose weight but to heal! From now on it is best to start eating BASIC (or alkaline). You should avoid acid-forming foods as much as possible, because they form waste products that are acidic. Foods such as dairy, eggs, protein foods (especially meat), grains (such as wheat), refined sugar, chocolate and nuts will produce acid in the body. It is also better not to use alcohol or caffeine. For example, spinach is more acid-forming than watermelon and grains are more acid-forming than fish.
They or you can find all this on the internet, but it is best to talk about it with a nutritionist or dietician.
That's not me, I'm just an expert by experience ;-(
I have nothing to gain from it, but I hope there are people I can help with this advice. And also to ensure that the name 'fibro' is cleared! Why? Well, there are people who have been diagnosed with fibro, who then, unknowingly, adopt such a basic diet and then heal. They then shout "WE ARE CURED OF FIBRO!!" but they didn't have fibro! Wle soured muscles. The people who really have fibro are then ridiculed, also by the doctors (and society!), this gives the real disease fibro a very bad name. Believe me, real fibro cannot be cured, I know this for sure because a fibro buddy of mine keeps trying everything (her husband makes a lot of money) and still nothing is better! She bought an expensive, special mattress that would cure fibro (bummer!), an infrared cabin and so on.
I would also like to warn that there are many quacks who claim they can cure you, sometimes they sell you expensive supplements and as a result you end up in poverty like another woman I once contacted. All their money was spent on such things because she had to and would heal!! So no!! Poverty and divorce became her part + loneliness. And such jerks get away with it, extremely sad, right? That's why I try to warn as many people as possible and help them in my own way, with information. But whether people will follow it, that's their responsibility, right?
      - Lots of love, Pinkie
