  • Welcome back to Feel Good Fashion School!
The eagle-eyed amongst you noticed that I didn’t include the Apple shape in my Body Shape Basics - The Rules video! I have deliberately given this body type a bit of extra love and produced a special, just on this topic, as so much of the advice applies to anyone who wants to conceal a larger tummy so it’s definitely worth a watch even if you are not strictly an apple.
It’s also a common misconception amongst Stylists that the Apple body type is the hardest to style and that’s simply not true. Here I share your styling guidelines and a few key tips to get you started as well as revealing the biggest styling mistake I see ladies who have a larger tummy making.

Being a "skinny apple" is so annoying- as you noted at the beginning you can be small and still an apple, you constantly get asked if you are pregnant or even just sort of told that they know you are. Its jarring and I wish strangers would learn to keep their mouths shut.
LIterally, every time I wear a maxi dress.

thank you. As an apple (hour glass when younger), it's so hard to style myself now. I tend to just wear a tunic top over flare leg yoga pants. I need some new ideas!! Please do more with actual models and outfit suggestions. I am so ready to add to my silhouette. I am tired of wearing the same look over and over.

it would be great to see a version of this with actual models who are apple-shaped. Showing the pic of Princess Kate doesn't make sense in this context. Of course, she has lots of advantages that we do not. Thank you.

You should’ve used apple shaped bodies to demonstrate your dressing tips. It doesn’t help me to see skinny models.

Describing an apple shape to an apple shape is not necessary at all. Show how it can be changed😮😂

I'm sorry you felt like this! There is often so much to fit into videos, I find viewers prefer them split into categories! I'll definitely take your feedback on board though and make sure to also have longer versions! Thank you for watching!

I love what you are wearing! I'm short 5' and pear shaped, wear hijab and dress modestly. I really need your help- I love empire line dresses. But I feel frumpy most of the time. Please help!!

You can't use Kate Middleton to demo an apple shape. It makes no sense and is offensive.
