- In this brilliant fan level by ballfartchungus43, V2 returns wielding V1's entire arsenal against them! It seems that down to just one arm, he poses a bigger threat than ever; even using some of V1's weapons more efficiently than they can in an unofficial final showdown between the two hellbound robots.

Having him shoot the screwdriver would be neat under the circumstance of it getting rid of all hard damage, requiring you to hit him back to make sure you don't die before it runs out.

they should've made it so there was a second phase in wich we chase v2 through the destroyed remains of some place in the garden of forking paths, and then v2 gets fucking desintegrated and his remains are lauched incredibly fast to the eclipsing moon and he just implodes into blood, staining the whole place's sky in red and making blood rain like in p-2

You can wish all you want, but creating a boss this complex without engine access is a remarkable feat in its own right. Appreciate what we have, don’t want for even more- game dev is hard, and we’re blessed someone made this free.

Y'see THIS is the V2 fight I want. Not a marksman spamfest where simply learning the parry timing destroys the poor bastard, no saw traps that take off a third of his health before the fight even starts; no, just a pure scramble for survival against a foe that is just as good as you in most ways and arguably better in a few.

The first two fights weren't a "marksman spamfest" maybe the first one but the second one literally countered it, for a first time player they wouldn't know what to do for that and would just use their other weapons instead of the marksman. Though I can agree with the sawtraps taking out most of v2's health, you don't ACTUALLY get the sawblade until after getting whiplash (after beating 4-4). "But nail traps!!" True that lmao but even with a nail trap it probably wouldn't take out as much as the sawtraps could do. Lastly, this was always meant to be a scramble for survival, maybe you found it too easy? The first fight is a skill check, to make sure you're prepared for future fights. The second one is kind of like a skill check but it uses elements such as limited your arsenal a bit to make the fight more diverse, encouraging you to use your weapons while also making the fight a bit harder.
@@kindapersonI feel nailtraps are even deadlier than the saw traps because you can just spam them near V2 when it uses the overheat nailgun and then just keep hitting it with the bursts.
@@RushWheeler they might be because of the overheat but it's really the range of the sawtraps that give it that potency, a standard nail trap is only fixed in one place and is only good for boss intros with v2. But I do see the point with the ridiculous fire rate of the overheat + the regular minigun, being that one singular point that v2 will crash into when the fight starts will take out a chunk of its health is kinda overpowered. But I saw from my own experience playing ultrakill, I didn't know you could you nail traps on bosses until after I already ran through the entire game, or for any tech lol. So taking that perspective as a new player, yeah you could nailbomb him and get that health down but there's still the rest of the fight to actually... fight.

hakita should make 7-S the hardest level in the game (possibly beside the prime sanctums) just for the boss to be a wine glass/goblet/bowl of v2’s blood that does absolutely nothing and gets one shot with a single punch
We already have the Cancerous Rodent AND Very Cancerous Rodent in 1-2. We don't need clones of them.

V.C.R. is NOT a one-shot kill, and puts up SOME sort of fight.
If they make this idea, it might just be a double-fakeout for some people because first they think that its gonna be this, and then a real V2 re-rematch, only to be met with nothing.
It would be similar, but not a clone. We don't have an entire gauntlet to fight before the C.R. or V.C.R., but if this idea were to be made, it'd be an entire secret level made just for V2, making it a one-shot and you're done with it.

If the creator posts V2-3 as a standalone enemy it might be possible. Until then, you’ll just have to use cheats within the arena to see that sort of thing.

@@TheLetterB123Yeah I don't get why V2 dies in 4-4. Hakita is setting up 3 member patterns everywhere, but cuts V2's pattern short at 2. 3 secret bosses, 3 acts, 3 instances of the last layer of an act being only 2 levels, 3 Gabriel fights, (presumably) 3 alt weapons in the first layer of an act

Hakita killed V2 for a reason. This doesn't feel like anything new, almost the entire level is reused or reskinned assets. Mechanically there isn't even a difference between V2's new attacks and its old ones since they all just shoot a projectile straight at you. V3 was a much better example of this idea, it actually tried new things, and made sense with the story.
I found this V2 to be substantially harder than any of his previous appearances; he was a lot better with my weapons and his ability to fire rockets and boulders forced me to move a lot more. If you watch towards the end I panic after taking a boulder to the face. I’m glad that V2 died, don’t get me wrong, but this was a fun little fan level with some impressive mechanics!
