Just watched your video again. I gave a 18 deluxe and very happy with it. On a side note, you said how ppl were harsh on the LiveWire. I think HD was very brave to take a chance in the electric motorcycle. Had it had a longer battery life , and really sold ppl woukd have been bragging how HD had tge best electric motorcycle. In time it will be the best and galley xan still go back n bring it out again. Personally if I had the money I would have bought one.

Just got an 08 deluxe and it’s hard to stay off it I swear 😂 hopefully they bring it back in the future.
I loved my 16 deluxe. I shouldn’t have watched this. My FXDR is getting nervous. 🤣

The newer Deluxe has lost some of the retro styling that was, to me, what it was all about. This is too 'smooth' too 'rounded-off' here and there. I'll stick with my '05.

Whats with this pricing? In Houston Texas the last brand new softail custom I checked out at a harley dealer was 18k and that was in 2019. That was a real pricing and not some verbal from some salesman . You must be in another country. And the pricing wasnt fro some stupid ad. I went to have some tube keys made for a 02 softail and while there at san jacinto harley in pasadena texas I checked out the entire softail line of fat boy and custom and deluxe. The new softail deluxe was 20k and the custom brand new was 18k. I got these figures in literature for my personal possible decision to maybe buy a new one.So this is not some novice comment

@@BigDavesPlace This makes a difference for sure. This would mean in your country a harley would be a rich mans motorcycle, unless lets say people were payed a 30% higher salary there and that would make it the same price. I like harleys and their engine originality made as the older aircraft design, but harley has never been right to any country and they were traitors to americans and made their bikes unaffordable to the average. Such as even as far back as the 1960s americans were buying Japanese bikes Softail design works best for me though
@@EarlGuyton425 Like any company I guess they charge what the local market will bear. Their responsibility is to shareholders after all. They're under no obligation to subsidise for the domestic market and not doing so doesn't make them 'traitors'. When I visited the York, PA plant over a decade ago they said 60% of the bike parts come from overseas (wonder what the percentage is today?) so it's not like you're getting 'American Iron' anyway. That's just marketing BS. I've rebuilt a good number of Harleys. Mexican loom, Japanese and Taiwanese rims, Italian hubs, Japanese suspension. Even the new machinery at York was European (probably one reason why the bikes are better today than they were previously). Anyway, nice bikes. Love mine. But all the other romance is for the suckers.
@@bm7760 The market of anything is a matter of the local market as you stated and based on how ignorant the consumer is, based on what it is supposed to be. A rolls royce is not a rolls royce at all today to a person like me with the knowledge of who once built the drive train. And also the RR was never hand built at all, but was built like any other car, but the ignorant consumer believed it was hand made Or the cadillac was not a complete cadillac after the year 1981 because cadillac no longer made engines, but the ignorant still purchased them and thought they were as durable as the earlier years, Authorities allow marketers to lie and deceive because they gain more tax monies and also receive back the earned interest on items financed

It's not mine Neil - It's a Press Demo - but I would go Stage One for sure - I wrote it up for the magazine that way. Plus a few other extras like Cruise Control too.
Hey, Neil, David. I own a 2010 Deluxe. I went one up and duel Sampson Fishtails, one on each side. Sounds AWESOME. My bike is in Road Iron June 2012 Pg. 88-92 I love it. I switched to Bullet Turn Signals, custom Indian Front Fender, Tail Dragger Rear Fender, Diamond Cut Fins and a lot of other upgrades. (My first new Harley). Nice wishes
